Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma is fruity, cellar, sour, vinous, berries, roasted malt. Flavour is vinous, roasted, sour, berries and dry. Presence of brett is rather obvious. What a strange stout. Somewhat low carbonation. This is very close to being a dark sour/wild ale.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, grapes, malt, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, malt, caramel, and fruits, leading to a tart finish.

Papsoe (25090) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a deep dark brown with a reddish hue and a rough, beige head. Thick Brett aroma, quite some barnyard - and very little roast. Medium body, tart and woody with great Brett accents. Very little Stout character left, but quite a wonderful beer. 110113

Bottle @ BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Pours dark red-black, with little head. Sourness prevails in nose and taste. Curious beast, but tasty. Just for oddity though, bit like a "Sacher Torte" in a bottle.

50cl bottle, BB 2016, cheers David for the bottle.
