19th August 2012
On tap at the King William IV - Witterfest. Opaque black beer, little tan head. Light softish palate. Mild dark malts, a little coffee and cream. Loads of brett but mellow and well integrated. Soft and semi dry finish with a nice red wine fruity taste. Nice beer!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It pours a really dark brown body, topped by a small, dense, light tan head. The aroma has a touch of red wine tannins and fruit, with roasted malts and some chocolate. Dry, full-bodied and faintly warming on the palate, with flavors of red wine, dark chocolate and coffee, some bitterness. Long finish with tannin bitterness and dark chocolate. Nice indeed, but maybe a bit too sourish. 130928

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap @ Dronning Louise, Esbjerg.
Pours almost completely black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has funk, chocolate, plums, apple. Medium carbonation, dry and somewhat light mouthfeel. Flavour is funky, oaky, roasted malts, mild chocolate, overripe plum. Rather dy and mildly tart finish. Not sticking together that well.

Chopp. Amber brown, small off-white head. Tart roasty malty (dark) fruity like aroma. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of roasty malt and brett (pleasantly tart), fruity like too. Nice.
