On tap at Mikkeller Bar, April 2011.
Slightly hazy orange with a small white head. A lot of pineapple in the aroma, also in the sweet taste. Also spices and some bitterness. A good beer but not excellent in my opinion.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on 4/10/11 from a bomber bottle at Lush West Town. Pours clear orange with a thick white head that recedes to thin and even lace. The nose is signature saison with spicy yeast, candi sugar, bread toast, and the addition of green and herbal hops. The flavor is the same with spicy yeast, candi sugar, toast, white peppercorn, and herbal bitter hoppiness. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long herbal hops and bread finish.

Bottle picked up at StateLine... Poured into a snifter, orange/yellow color, good head. Nose of hops, fruity, yeasty (saison) notes and some flowers. Taste is nice... hoppy but not over-done. More saison characteristics then IPA... Lots of flowers, yeasty, little earthy.. Dry. Lots of carbonation... medium body. Overall. Nice saison.
