COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkel and Brian are two of the world’s most unconventional brewers. By designing beers at various breweries around the globe, they have found the freedom to experiment and innovate, resulting in unique beers that often blur the lines of definition. After having met at a festival in Bodegraven, NL the two realized that their first creations both were called Stateside. It was then an obvious decision to make the two recipes into a new product, packed full of piney, resinous hops, and backed by the esters of a farmhouse yeast strain.

750ml bottle served in a tulip. Lots of carbonation. Poured a hazy gold with a massive head. Plenty of citrus in the aroma along with some Belgian spice. Light bodied and crisp. Spritzy carbonation. Fair amount of hop bitterness. Spicy Belgian yeast in the finish. Hop dryness. Easy drinking beer, good stuff.

rec’d in trade and aged (accidentally for a year +) GREAT beer. cloudy golden pour. Aroma was of citrus, spice, some resin?, nice palate. Taste was very complex and it all worked well - some citrus but also peaches and other fruits, multiple layers during sips - yeast, citrus/resin hops and spices toward end of sip. NICE beer and thanks to whomever sent this...

gEUS (982) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAY 22, 2014
750 ml bottle. Pours clear dark orange with a small fuzzy fizzly dark white simmering head. Aroma of carbo acid in the beginning (quite lively bottle as well). Afterwards a spicy, gingerbread alike scent, brown and cane Sugar? Light body, elderberries in the taste. Spicy end, a bit sour and slight alcohol burn... Meh... it’s a bit bland actually, compared to other similar beers.
