Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours hazy weak straw coloured with a huge frothy snow white head.Aroma of brett with lots of citrussy fruits. Taste is peppery fruity, dry and crisp, high carbonated. Nice light bitter end, easy to like this one, refresher de luxe.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fascinating golden yellow pour with nice head. Especially cool looking with the yeast poured in. Aroma is very brett forward with notes of peaches and a slight noble hop character. Flavor follows, bretty, light spice, a bit grainy, and peachiness. Only demerit is a bitter/astringent quality that is a bit much in a beer with such delicate flavors. Excellent stuff otherwise.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I never even heard of this beer before our tasting yesterday. Pours a bright peach with a white head. Nose is super bright and rife with tropical fruits, cumquat, passion fruit. Light brett yeast and just a really nice bright expression of grain, fruits, and yeast. Flavors are more tropical fruits, rally dry but superbly integrated. A musty funk note starts to swell up in the finish. Barrel integration is fantastic and typical of Stillwater’s best beers in this style. Carbonation is high and champagne like. One of the most surprisingly great American beers I’ve had in some time.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Glowing, radiant yellow with a mass of carbonation making an exodus to the surface. A big pillowy head.
Aroma: wow, heavy horseblanket yeast, very farmhouse/saison. A puckery sourness, like lemon juice or even a mild white vinegar. There is an accent of a flowery hop, but it’s definitely a secondary whiff.
Again, and incredibly sour flavor, almost akin to a gueuze. There is a very pungent, puckery aftertaste. The sourness is borderline overwhelming.
Leaves a dry, bready aftertaste, basically like a gueuze. I was expecting a little bit of a horsey quality to it, but make no mistake, this is a gueuze.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Exploded upon opening... still fizzing; this could be bad. Hazy yellow pour with frothy white head. Smells funky, brettanomyces and super acidic like a lambic. I also got some in some of my open cuts and it sure does tingle. Not as sour as it smells... the brett is up front and center. It tastes nutty, dusty, tart... well balanced. High effervescence and nice creamy mouthfeel working. Holy crap the bottle is still overflowing!!! I think there’s so much brett in here it’s coming alive in my living room!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.65l bottle from Řltorget. This one had a lovely looking medium sized lacing white head that’s refusing to let go. All this on top of a glowing bright yellow cloudy beer. It actually started with a massive POP when I popped the cap, but to my surprise, no gushing what so ever. Looks really good. The nose has a wheat grainy touch over it. I get some sulfuric tones in between that is not all that found of. Also something light spicy, coriander seeds and fart. Not quite sure what to think of that aroma to be honest. It has a almost thin mouthfeel and the carbonation level is above average. It’s really dry and bitter this. Lots of dry grape zest, grapefruit and toothpaste mixed. You know that flavor.. A little bretty hint is present all the time, but after a while in the glass the brett takes over. Not sour in anyway way, just really bretty! as is traces of mandarin and tangerines. Ill give it that’s it’s really lightdrinkable and flavorful. A bit minerallish in the bitter dry-zesty finish. It grows on you this strange creation. 29.05.2013
