Old rate I found in my notes from last year. How did I miss it!!? Poured a milky yellow body with an average foamy white head. Aroma is damn good, lots of funky brett, slightly tart sourness, hint of spanish olives. Thin bodied with stingy strong carbonation and a quick fading aftertaste. The flavor is nowhere near as strong or funky as the aroma, notes of grains, dry toast, brett, lemon peel, and a bit more funk and barnyard towards the end.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an opaque almost milky white with a dense white head. Citrusy and bretty nose, very yeasty. Light body, very dry - almost astringent - with a massive yeastiness and a very bitter finish. 060413

Bomber poured a hazy yellow with a lasting whiute head. Aromas of straw, barnyard funk, lemon zest, light earthiness and a hint of leather. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, barnyard funk, light lemon zest and light eartrhiness with a smooth dry lingering funky straw finish.

Bottle. HGazy yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is spiciness, grass, flowers, a bit of hay and farmyard. Flavor is similarly balanced. Very low key on all the elements, but they all play nicely. Tasty mellow beer.

750ml capped and waxed bottle with some really nice artwork pours a cloudy golden color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and grass with some yeast and funk. Taste is a citrus and herbal hoppy bitterness with some grainy malty sweetness and a funky dry yeasty finish. Generous carbonation and light body. Certainly this is a complex and interesting brew, but does not agree well with my tastes.

75cl bottle at Torst generously shared by the RB crew. Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal and citrusy with tremendous barnyard funk. Taste is earth and citrus, brett, funk and clean grassiness. High carbonation. What a terrific balance for a beer that has so much complexity. A great session beer.
