3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. HGazy yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is spiciness, grass, flowers, a bit of hay and farmyard. Flavor is similarly balanced. Very low key on all the elements, but they all play nicely. Tasty mellow beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml capped and waxed bottle with some really nice artwork pours a cloudy golden color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and grass with some yeast and funk. Taste is a citrus and herbal hoppy bitterness with some grainy malty sweetness and a funky dry yeasty finish. Generous carbonation and light body. Certainly this is a complex and interesting brew, but does not agree well with my tastes.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cl bottle at Torst generously shared by the RB crew. Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal and citrusy with tremendous barnyard funk. Taste is earth and citrus, brett, funk and clean grassiness. High carbonation. What a terrific balance for a beer that has so much complexity. A great session beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours yellow gold with big gushing fluffy white head. Nose and taste of farmhouse and wild yeast, soured rice cakes, lightly toasted artisan bread, lemongrass, horse blanket, white sugar, peppercorns and lightly spiced malt. Body on the lighter side of medium. Great session beer. A bit overcarbonated. Finishes bone dry but not abrasive.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled: pours a hazy bright golden with a pillowy froth of white head. Has a light citrus nose with a healthy dose of horseblanket funk. Starts with decent fullness and effervescent carbonation with mild sweetness and crisp tartness along with good brett funk and complexity before a drier bittersweet finish. Surprisingly drinkable and would make for a good session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap 4 oz. sample at Pizza Paradiso in Alexandria, VA.
Hazy, silvery straw-yellow with a hint of green, a white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of grass, herbs, Brett, yeast , sour lemon, musty citrus and corn.
Taste of grass, wheat, lemon, musty citrus, corn, spice and funky light fruit.
An especially good looking beer with an exuberance of wild smells and flavors, which are unfortunately throttled by a hefty dose of corn. To my mind, corn belongs on cobs or in soup, not in beer.
