Pours hazy yellow with dense white head. Aroma is wheaty bananas, some spices. Taste is what Id imagine a "double saison" to taste like: funky, spicy, mildly fruity with a little more heft than a regular saison, followed by a rather bitter finish for the style. Not as quick a quaff as a lighter saison, but quite tasty.

A 12 fl oz bottle that has a bottling date code of 364:14 aka 30th December 2014. It was poured into a Duvel tulip glass. The beer poured a slightly hazy orange tinted golden colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly. Aromas are mainly bready malts, quite yeasty, hint of coriander, honey and then some fruity banana, pineapple, apple and lemon to end. Taste starts sweeter than expected but ends with a lasting bitterness. Honey and bubblegum upfront, followed by mild or even weak apple juice, and hints of banana, spicy pepper and lemon zest. Dry, medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall I prefer my saisons sour whereas this one is hoppy. Having said that, its still very refreshing and easy to drink.

From Craftissimo's new shop. Bright light orange-amber. Thin white head with huge bubbles that subside, no lacing. Smells very sweet, honey and orange zest, with a very citric yeastiness. More white pepper and doughy malt as it warms up. Tastes of honey, citrus fruit, Body is lemony, crisp, smooth, very fine light carbonation - like a fizzy apple juice. A Saison that's very sweet, citric and fresh/bright tasting. Would be nice paired with food.

Bottle from new Craftissimo at home. Nearly clear golden pour with minimal carbonation. Aroma is yeast, honey, lots of honey, some pine, floral, lemon. Taste follows - lots of honey, again, which is pleasantly unusual. Leads to a very round taste and even palate. Other flavors are lemon, some pine, saison peppery. Lasting mild bitterness. Nice take on a saison - not as hoppy as I thought, but some good bitterness, and I like the honey notes. Would get again. Not overpowering in either the saison or hoppy direction so would pair well with some roasted fall food.

12 oz. bottle from Old Town. Aroma: Honey herbal lozenge with honey emphasis; light musty lemon peel; light gum. Appearance: Bright gold, unfiltered pour with lively carbonation holding up a foamy white head; the head settles into a solid skin. Flavor: All flavors from the aroma lightly present up front, but lemon-led; honey and gum come up more to carry this to the finish, which has some light noble-like bitterness, and is mostly dry. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Really dug this; definitely one to try if youre like me, and typically have a hard time appreciating American takes on the style. Affordable as well (my bottle was $2.99).

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with almost no head. Yeasty, soft fruit aroma. Flavour has a nice touch of spice to give it dry, fresh finish.
