Bottle. Golden hazy. Nice hay malty, dusty saisonny dry doughy yeastyness on nose. Med bodied, dry finish. Hay malty substance there, dried peachy, dried apricot fruity flavour. Some sweetness, bit from the malts, some from the yeast. Really nice saison. Alive with intensive dried fruit flavours.

Une bière bonne mais pas incroyable du tout. le plus cool c’est l’arôme: minéral, vineux, doux, équilibré.

W aromacie cytrusy zmieszane z brzoskwinią, bitą śmietaną, piankami marshmallows. Generalnie słodki i dość intensywny. Piana średnio obfita, barwa złota, zmętniona. W smaku także brzoskwinia, lekki alkohol, cytrusy, taki blonde z domieszka amerykańskich chmieli. Sporo ciała, piwo jest gęste, lekko mulące, pijalnosć dość niska. Ogólnie dobre, bogaty smak, ciekawe odczucie w ustach. Warte spróbowania, ale nie wybitne.

A slightly hazy, golden beer with a big and blond head. Aroma is fresh, perry-like fruityness, lemon, some grain, sourness and spices. Taste is fruitful and strongly spicy, quite strong hops in the end, slightly dry, nice sourness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Quite harsh saison but as a good way.

Bottle from err somewhere. Deep amber yellow colour, nice thick white head, looks superb. A very solid saison, avoids the excess funk and random crap that occasionally seems to end up in American versions of this style. Very drinkable and nice, well balanced, slight sweetness from the malt, a pleasant Belgian yeast character and some hop balance to finish. I guess the NZ hops came in slightly piney bitterness in the finish; arguably these could have shown a bit more character. Solid without doing anything remarkable.

Bottle from La Mise En Bière - Clear golden color with a massive bubbly white head, fully lasting and a lot of lacing on the glass, beautiful - Aroma is yeasty, spicy, malty, citrusy (kumkwat, orange) and floral - Flavor is yeasty spicy and citrusy - Light body, strong bitterness, fizzy carbonation, dry, long dry bitter citrusy spicy finish - really good well hopped, the yeast are beautiful, the malt backbone is a little bit too hidden imo but that’s a great beers

750 from the bargain bin at QFC. Super carbonated pour into a shaker glass, with about 5 inches of head to go with 1 inch of clear gold liquid. Lots of time to get the nose on this I guess. Oh yeah, semi-regular lacing (like popcorn cumulus convection viewed from a satellite, if you’re one of the few for whom that holds any meaning). Aroma is dominated by the yeast esters, reminiscent of Saison Dupont. Bubblegum, melon, cotton candy, soft lemon, more like lemon meringue. Taste is lovely. Remarkably quaffable. Lightly sweet, more melon and meringue in the middle, subtly bitter in the finish. Notably missing are pepper or mineral character, but this is still very clearly a farmhouse ale in spirit. Palate: medium body, suprisingly creamy texture; lively carbonation; surprisingly dry finish considering the sweet descriptors I’ve used so far. Overall: This is really quite fine. A lovely straightforward quaffable saison -- no funk, but so well-balanced, and with a flavor profile all of its own.
