(Bottle) Pours clear dark yellow with and off-white head. The aroma is fantastic – dough, ginger, Swedish Pommac, citrus (lime, lemon and grapefruit), light phenolic, flower, shop, light straw, biscuit, white bread, cinnamon, lavender, chamomile tea, mint herbal, violet, cigarette smoke, dry marzipan, and wild strawberries. The subtle hops and esters blend well. Complex nose, but you have to spend some time with it. The flavor is light sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Tones of doughty yeast, cracker and bready malt, mild citric hops, tart fruity and light peppery spicy. Also light notes of flowers and herbal tea. The mouthfeel is clean, soft, bit creamy and light tart with light carbonation. Citric and porridge finish. Lavender and heather also lingers. Medium bodied.

This one hit the spot on a hot sumer afternoon playing bocce. The pour is hazy peach with a monster of a white head. Then nose holds some yeasty breadiness, lemon zest, and yummy cheesecloth. The flavor was much the same, with a nice dry crisp acidity coming through. Thin palate with high effervescence, but great for those summer occasions.

750 mL bottle. Hazy peach pour with a sizable mountainous head. Really nose classic saison presence of bread, lemon zest, grapefruit, and further really nice yeast presence. Same on the tongue, with a crisp and delightfully drinkable mouthfeel, dry and delicious. Very nice.

Porus cloudy orange, with a nice head. Aroma is fresh, earthy and hoppy. Carbonation is high, mouthfeel is dry and a little acidic. Very nice

Sampled at SIB. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thick, white, frothy head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, hay, biscuit and grain. Flavour the same but also includes some barnyard funk. It leaves a dry mouth feel. Medium bodied. Not overly exciting, but still good.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2012 draft@Delirium Hoppy Loft: hazy light orange/yellow with a white head, very hoppy especially for the style, lots of sweet American/apricot hops, grapefruit, creamy peach, slight yeast, light pepper in the finish & some mildly tart apricots in here, minor funk, nice bitterness combined with the sweet fruitiness, slightly dry finish, great stuff ////// 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – thx to Bart – much less impressive in bottle than on top, the delicious fruity hop explosion of the tap version is missed here, instead basic bitterness mixed saison yeast, ok

Really nice refreshing saison. Aroma is earthy/doughy with citrus. Taste is crisp and refreshing like mixing a good saison with a good pale ale. Nice hop character really makes this one stand out from the traditional farmhouse ale.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2011 Very fresh complex and delicate classic saison. Yet it is aggressively hopped for the style, very tasty easy drinker

Sampled from bottle at SIB, pours cloudy golden yellow with a voluminous white head. Aroma of barnyard funk, lots of yeast, citrus, hay and cereal - very prominent wild funk. Flavour brings this funk out big time, with tons of yeast, hay and cereal. Multitude of depth to this saison. Excellent.
