Cask@GBBF 2010. Vibrant golden beer with a light head. The aroma is vinous and sour and the flavour is sour, fruity and mildly dry. Overall a nice vibrant sour and bitter beer.

Cask, GBBF 10. Hazy amber, yellow with a thin head. Aromas are caramel, yeast and lemon. Trace banana with spices. Flavours are sweet lemon marmalade with bready yeast and lightly grassy hops. Some medicinal notes with a woody, dry and bitter finish. Decent.

Thanks to Nellie for sharing this bottle. This is my first beer from Stillwater. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is yeast with some spices and citrus fruit. The flavor is a mix of orange and lemon with some Belgian yeast and assorted spices. A nice drinkable saison. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A-pours a hazy deep golden amber color with tons of fluffy bubbly head, white in color. S-doughy malts up front, saison yeast with that light barnyard funk quality, notes of orange peel and lemon zest, herbal spicy presence, a fair amount of peppery spice. T-the taste follows the nose, a great doughy malt base, barnyard funky yeast, citrusy orange peel, a light herbal hop presence, peppery spice in the back. M-medium syrupy body, soft and smooth on the palate, strong carbonation to balance and give a good crisp finish that is slightly dry. D-great saison, everything you want to see, strong yeast presence, nice bit of hop balance with a solid spicy herbal showing accompanied by a nice peppery spice in the back. the doughy forefront and citrus afterplay give it the balance and complexity you want to see.

750ml courtesy of mattyb83. Pours a beautiful golden orange with a big white head that quickly dissipated into about a 1cm head with big ol’bubbles. Aroma of yeast, hay, spices, and some lemon citrus in there. This beer has a body you could stick your dick in. Its got a somewhat creamy/doughy mouthfeel while still retaining a nice level of carbonation. Notes of (Heavy)spices, citrus, flowers, and yeast on the palate that leads into a nice long finish. Overall, I really enjoyed this beer, but a little more balance on the palate would have been nice.

I had a small sample of this a couple of months back and enjoyed the little bit that I had. Glad to have received this from nimbleprop. So big thanks goes out to andy. From a 750 mL bottle. Pours a nice golden orange with a large white head that slowly dissipates. A small head remains atop the beer. The aroma is spicy, and floral with some hay and lemon. Flavor is spicy yeast, lemon, and has a touch of bitter hops in the finish. Overall this is really a great saison. Thanks once again to nimbleprop for this bottle.

6/18/10. picked up at wooden keg. badass label and it’s from westminster???!!! hazy orange tinted golden brown with a soap-like foamy white head. it smells a bit sweet... brown sugar cookie dough mixed with wood, straw, skunky hops and a touch of lemon peel. the flavor is the same... brown sugar cookie dough, some tart lemon, a touch of chocolate, spiciness and some numbing bitterness. it lacks complexity and has far too much residual sugar which also means the medium body is a bit on the thicker side. 6/4/6/3/13/3.3
