Bomber from Capone’s. Great head, dry, slightly fruity. Reminded me somewhat of Allagash Tripel Reserve. Very nicely done.

Bottle and Draft. Pours an orange body with a white full head. Cheesy, earthy dry floral hop tones, a light earth spritz of citrus and tangerines, mild provolone. Full bodied with a tangerine hop resins, citrus mild cheesy and viney hop tones. Very nice a bit young but this has plenty of potential to funk out nicely, delicious none the less.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2010 Draft. Light golden pour with some white. Light spice and grains in the nose. One of the best light flavored beers that is not lacking flavor. Found myself going back to this again and again, can’t remember last time i did that at a bar. Keep brewing.

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line. It is a cloudy orange pour with a huge, foamy, white head. A giant nose full of dust, citrus, grass, and sweet pale malts hit you as soon as you open the bottle. The flavor is malty, but dry. A light earthy sweetness is predominate with notes of dust, orange, and spice. There is a medium, very smooth mouthfeel with medium carbonation and a short finish. This is a great brew with a lot of depth, flavor, and structure. Definitely worth trying!

On tap at Capones. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium bubbly white head that laced. Aroma of tropical fruits, nice mixed citrus notes, floral, some light Saison spicy notes, light white wine/grape presence and bready malt with a touch of funk. Flavor of the same tropical fruits, grapes, mango, bready malt, nice touch of some funky character, moderate hop bitterness and it was nice and dry. Well done!

On tap at Frisco Grille: Pours a slightly hazy, but mostly transparent deep golden brass with a pillowy froth of white head. Has a fresh floral citrusy hoppy nose with hints of soft biscuity malt. Starts with pretty good fullness and effervescence with a mild toasty sweetness and lots of grassy grapefruity hops with some zesty lemon tartness and authentic yeast character before a drier, clean bittersweet finish. An enjoyable and true to style saison, even if I prefer a little more sweetness.

orange with a foamy off-whote head. aroma is spicy, farmhouse yeast. a very new world hop character makes this one very american. not that this is a bad thing. excellent palate. soft carbonation, just the right amount of firmness. i also appreciate this one does not succumb to the 10%+ abv trend. nice stuff.

Draft – Frisco Grille. Dark hazy gold, creamy white head. Zesty orange peel aromas rest upon on a deep foundation of peppery spiced earth and yeast. Very well balanced throughout with dry fruity citric tones rounding with a soft peppery hop bitterness. Just a touch of back end sweetness pulls it all together in the finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Extremely well crafted in my humble opinion. Keep up the great work, Brian!
