Pours hazy but bright orange with a thick off-white head that slowly recedes to thick lace that clings to the side of the glass. The nose is spicy saison yeast with some nice bread and caramel malt, along with floral and grapefruit peel hops. The flavor is a bit more malt forward than expected with the spicy yeast and floral/citrus hops melding together very nicely. The body is medium with very lively, stinging carbonation, and a long citrus hops and spicy yeast finish.

650 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with medium foamy head. Aromas of yellow fruit, mangos, yeast, and New Zealand hops. Flavors of light yeast, white pepper, malts, and light citrus.

Bottle Poured into a Tulip. Golden yellow clear crisp appearance with a bubbly white head that doesn’t stick around long. Yeast, hay, barnyard, some hops in the nose. Nice active mouth feel with a crisp front with lots of straw, yeast, and full body into a bitter hoppy finish. Nice and balanced. Medium long finish.

Typical barn yard funk aroma: cloves and spice highly present. A little sour at first but finishes spicy. A wonderful saison.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear light golden with a white head. Pretty decent saison. Slightly more subtle pepper notes with more of a lemongrass flavor up front. I liked this one best of the 3 Stillwater farmhouse styles that I tasted.

Draught @ CBC. Pours golden with huge white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, earth, grass, herbs. Flavor is malt, yeasty, dust, eart,, herbs, grassy hops, little citrus and light sweet. Thin body, lively carbonation, refreshing dry finish. 040513

Sample from tap, CBC 2013. Cloudy, amber-orange colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with spices, orange zest, hay, some sweet, herbal notes - probably honey, light pepper. Taste is medium sweet. Medium body. Finishes dry with citrus hops and yeasts. Nice Saison.

Extremely cloudy, almost muddy. Funk and hops not really balanced, maybe I had the drains of the keg? Not a pleasant experience at all but fun to try

Draught at CBC 2013. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a small white head. Hoppy perfume aroma, citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, sourish, floral, herbal notes. Hoppy floral flavor, hay, citrus, grapefruit, floral, pine needles, quite hoppy. Nice beer

Pours yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, some farmyard tartness and yeasty notes. Taste is sweetish, fruity and hoppy wit some hints of tartness. Finish is hoppy and yeasty, quite nice saison.

Pours copper colored with huge white head that leaves some soapy lacing. The aroma is floral and spicy hops with a little barnyard/funk. Flavor follows with a little more pronounced peppery/spicy flavor than other saisons I’ve had. The carbonation was pretty strong but was pleasant (combined with creamy goat cheese).
