3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on 10/23/12 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours hazy but bright orange with a thick off-white head that slowly recedes to thick lace that clings to the side of the glass. The nose is spicy saison yeast with some nice bread and caramel malt, along with floral and grapefruit peel hops. The flavor is a bit more malt forward than expected with the spicy yeast and floral/citrus hops melding together very nicely. The body is medium with very lively, stinging carbonation, and a long citrus hops and spicy yeast finish.

Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. Very hazy orange. Film and ring of white head. Very chewy, grainy malts. Banana toffee. Bit toasty. Bit peppery. Taste is sweet, turning light dry. Hint of bitterness. Smooth, creamy palate. Stickiness on the lips. Finishes chewy sweet, with a hop bitter close. Ok stuff.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle dated 14 June 2013 served in a pilsner glass.
Light golden body, slightly hazy, with an over-sized,creamy, off-white head.
Aroma: dank and herbal, with hints of soft, ripe fruits.
Flavor: usually not my style of beer but this is fairly easy to drink and near minimally funky. Good complexity. Lemony, and lightly tart and bitter.
Feel: medium-high carbonation; near medium body.

Massively overcarbonated, even for a Saison. Pours ancloudy straw yellow with a very tall foam head. Very nice citrus and floral aroma. Very pleasant and complex citrus, spice and floral taste. Clean, fresh and bright on the palate with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Clean, slight citrus aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale golden color with little foam head. The smell is yeasty and a tiny bit sour. The taste is calm as is the carbonation. The taste is almost milky, but not that special. Quite nice beer, but not especially sensational.
