Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy blond, small white head. Grainy, Belgian spice and funk, yeasty, decent bitterness. Aroma has some citrus. Finish is lemony and dry. Herbal. Maybe most successful Belgian IPA Iíve had. Lots of fruit in there, strawberries, tangerine and mango, lightly tropical.

Draft at the Stillwater event at Dig Beer Bar. Nice floral nose, light peaches and a touch of funk. Cloudy apple juice color. Light tang and good bittering, punchy peach. Thin-medium body, with a yeasty pull on the tongue. Saison-y... but the hops really come through nicely.

On tap at the Stillwater event at Dig Bar. Belgian Ale. I love the punny name. Much more of a funky aroma & a slightly darker gold with some fruity banana or bubblegum in the nose. Barnyard funk, spicy, fruity with a very dry finish that has an almost cinnamon quality to it. It isnít really all that IPA like as the Classique has more of a bitter kick though a lower IBU.

Evenly hazy translucent orange yellow with a cm of white head. Aroma is lemon and rose with some sulfur, and taste is a more delicate version of the same with a nice biscuity finish. And a clean, bubbly mouthfeel that brings the finish together. $3/12oz

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/31/2013. Pours lightly hazy pale gold color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of of big lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, floral, grass, straw, light bubblegum, wheat, cracker, herbal and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hops, and light-moderate malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, floral, grass, straw, wheat, cracker, herbal, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of earthy bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, clove, grass, straw, herbal, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great hop/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly prickly/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian IPA. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and light-moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

joeneugs (2932) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 11, 2014
12 oz. bottle about 3 months old. It pours a lightly hazy yellow color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is fruity, candy spiced yeast esters with some citrus, banana and menthol. The flavor is rock candy, citrus, florals, fruit basket with fairly strong fruit spiced yeast character to go along with the hoppy profile. The finish is nicely dialed back on the bitterness and focuses more on the yeast. Pretty interesting beer. Good hop flavor.

Draught at Fermentoren. Hazy yellow - white head. Apple. Eastery. Fruity. Wheaty. Some bitterness. Citrus zesty. Ok freshness. Light malts. Light phenolic. Ok bitter finish.

Golden in color, clear with a thin head. Bad aroma with lots of skunk. Leads to not a overwhelming great beer. I think it was light struck.

bottle. Pale golden with one finger head. Light body with medium hops. I was expecting more of a hop bomb, but this was a very well done, balanced beer with plenty of hop flavor, but certainly not over the top.
