A very nice aroma, not too sweet, with a bit of caramel and some citrus. The flavor has a nice sweetness up front and then gets quite bitter on the swallow. Perfectly balanced, dry and refreshing.

Serving: Draft at Fire Works Leesburg. Hazy gold pour with a small white head. Understated nose with light floral and pine notes. Light grass, yeast, florals, and pale malt notes on the tongue. Soft carbonation with a light to medium body. Nice brew.

Draft at Fire Works Pizza, Leesburg. Pours hazy orange-yellow color with a thin white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of intense hops, herbal, stone fruits, citrus, along with pale malts. The taste is herbal, citrus hops, stone fruits, pale malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft. Amber-golden beer with a whitish head. Light yeast and light malt aroma with light fruity esters. Light banana and light yeast flavor. Medium bodied. Light malt and light yeast lkinger with light banana.

Draft at the Birch. Attractive and alluring with its very light golden color and active carbonation. The aroma is equally seductive, citric and sweet. This drinks with a full-on citrus acidity, perhaps a bit grassy, with a lip-smacking tangy finish. (#4882, 12/31/2012)

Draft at J. Clyde. Pours golden with an inch of thick white foam. Big grass notes on the nose. Very grassy and spicy on the tongue plus there’s some of that Belgian yeast thing as well. The hop flavor in the finish lingers a bit. Very nice!

On tap. Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a large and retentive white head. Aromas are hoppy, grainy, straw, citrusy, zesty, citrus rinds, tropical fruit, pear esters and peppery phenols. Flavors are bitter, estery, bone dry, phenolic, carbonic, grassy, citrusy and herbal. Very lively carbonation, completely bone dry, nicely floral and very pleasant to drink.

A hazy golden orange pour with a tall white head. Nose opens up with a nice sweet banana aroma. Plenty of citrus and floral hops, some yeast, and sweet bread. There’s a hint of tropical fruit, too. The flavor has a very nice fruit character of pineapple, mango, and citrus. Sweet bread, a hint of sugar, and some yeast. Floral hops in the background with a touch of banana ester. Very nice.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy orange with a big white head. The aroma Is dominated by citrus.. Orange peel and lemon zest. Some yeasty funk. The taste is medium hoppy with a big sweetness orange finish. Very nice light, sweet, hoppy belgian.

On tap. Bright yellow with a fluffy white head. Strong hoppy grassy aroma with nice sweet citrus notes. Good crisp citrus, straw, and hay taste with a dry finish and lingering hop perfume.
