3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle pours a hazy dark golden color with small white head that leaves several rings of lacing. Aroma has honey, Belgian yeast, bread, biscuits, lemon and some floral hops. Taste is bitter upfront despite the honey and yeast. It finishes like a Saisom, with some spices. Body is medium with average carbonation and a slightly sticky/oily mouthfeel. This is an interersting one which is hard to classify but worth another try.

Deep golden color accented by foamy legs and head. Presents itself well but thats where it ends for me personally. Nice citrusy bitterness up front with a finish reminiscent of a saison... and I do not enjoy a saison. I wont be getting this again; it is not a bad beer, just not suited for my palate.

From Craftissimo. Drank with Matt before Grana opening. Hazy translucent straw green-gold with thin watery foamy head. Sticky foamy legs. Smells of honey, cereal malt, orange, lemon, lime, light spice, woody piny hop. Taste is bitter, pith, lemon, dry finish. Body is oily, slick, some lemon frothiness. Tasty beer, great aroma.

Bottle from new Craftissimo at home. Hazy light golden yellow pour with big foamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is honey malt, apple hops, yeastiness. Taste is very sharply bitter at first but otherwise very Belgian/saison - not as much spice. Lots of honey. Bitterness lasts underneath. Quite nice.

Birra scorrevole ed onestà, che al naso porta un bel po di malto dolce ed un po’ di erba amara. Non troppa carbonata, in bocca sembra una pils con dtile, con smorzato erbacea finale decisa. Bevibile e leggera, non delude

a very nice morph of a beer that is at first an american ipa and then a nice fragrant yeasty and perfectly flavored belgian ale. a nice linger to the finish. it even trades off in the finish quite an accomplishment or find. zesty yet filling and satisfying yet classy.
