4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iíll start by saying Iím not a huge Stillwater fan so I was a little concerned paying $9/glass at Churchkey. This was on cask.
Obviously the same stillwater signature saison yeast but a nice body maybe a little under attenuated making it seem more like a golden ale vs. saison.
slightly cloudy with big bitterness followed by fresh Citra finish. I would call this a Belgian IPA. Very good....I had a dozen beers at Churchkey over 2 nights and this one stood out as the best.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is lemon, lime, fruit, sugar, Belgian yeast and mild mustiness. The flavor is lemons, fruit, malts and a biting bitterness and slight warming alcohol in the finish.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a rather wan and slightly hazy yellow with a thick and fluffy white head. Aroma, though, is strong, fruity, yeasty and a little bit hoppy. Flavor does not quite live up to the aroma, being rather weak, almost like a "lite" beer - a little malty, a little fruity, a little hoppy. Texture leaves something to be desired. OK, maybe the bottle I purchased came from a bum batch. Give it a try - hope your experience is better.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pale golden with a frothy head. The aroma of a Belgian. The perfect balance of biscuity malt with citrusy hops. A great example of US meets Belgian.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
pale yellow with frothy white head. I smell Belgian gas, powdered sugar, lemon & oak. the lemon tang and the fermented wheat flavors donít quite fit together, that malt liquor corn sugar flavor. Belgian IPAs are tricky. this one is strong n the Belgian department, but doesnít get a good hop balance

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lightly hazy straw yellow body, medium sized white head, spotty lacing. Nose shows fairly intense grass, lemon zest, yeast, and grains. Flavor is more subdued. Medium bodied, assertive carbonation, light bitterness, yeasty finish.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, bitter fruit and spicy hops. Maybe a little vinous. Flavor is fruity hops with bone dry malts and some lemon juice. Finish is cracker dry malt with a bit of tartness. A different beer but tasty and drinkable.
