Iíll start by saying Iím not a huge Stillwater fan so I was a little concerned paying $9/glass at Churchkey. This was on cask. Obviously the same stillwater signature saison yeast but a nice body maybe a little under attenuated making it seem more like a golden ale vs. saison. slightly cloudy with big bitterness followed by fresh Citra finish. I would call this a Belgian IPA. Very good....I had a dozen beers at Churchkey over 2 nights and this one stood out as the best.

Spicy, yeasty Belgian style beer. Just decent. Had worse, had better. Not bad for 99Ę though.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, KÝbenhavn
Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and berry. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long mango, citrus, grape and pine finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Smells spice with an earthy scent. Pearlescent gold with foamy yellow tinted white head. If a great saison and an incredible pale ale had a beautiful baby beer, this would be it. Smooth begining slides in then fades a bit to a warm Hoppy bitterness and both flavors melds. Amazing .

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2015 Itís okay, Iím not thrilled by this one. You get the normal belgian saison aroma here. I think this one of those breweries that is way over hyped. Iíve heard tons of people hyping up this brewery and the beer is okay but nothing that I would run back to, plus it is way over priced for what it is. The taste is nothing stellar. Typical saison, nothing really new.

Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty lemon, hints of yeast and citrus. Taste is smooth, earthy and slightly fruity with some yeastiness and farmyardy notes. Finish is smooth, sweetish and earthy with some yeast and fruits. Okay.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Aroma has hayish malt, peaches and some apricot. Flavour has srrong apricot tones, soapiness and some grass in the finish. Fizzy palate. Enjoyable, gets too sweet at the middle of the glass though.
