Iíll start by saying Iím not a huge Stillwater fan so I was a little concerned paying $9/glass at Churchkey. This was on cask. Obviously the same stillwater signature saison yeast but a nice body maybe a little under attenuated making it seem more like a golden ale vs. saison. slightly cloudy with big bitterness followed by fresh Citra finish. I would call this a Belgian IPA. Very good....I had a dozen beers at Churchkey over 2 nights and this one stood out as the best.

Bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy bright gold color, foamy white head cover, bands of lace. Taste is wheat and malt and bitter citrus. All share things equally until the finish, when the citrus hangs on just a little longer. On one hand, itís a Belgian, albeit without a lot of alcohol or spices. On the other hand, itís an American Ale with the requisite citrus hops. Either way, itís thirst-quenching and enjoyable.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of clove, earthy Belgian yeast, toasted grain, floral hops. Notes of citrus, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet, moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lingering bitterness. The dominant aroma and flavor is the Belgian yeast. Thatís tempered by notes of resin and grapefruit, though this is far from a resin bomb.

12 oz bottle, bottled on 10/31/13, hope itís still good- Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger head that slowly reduces leaving some lace. Aroma is spicy, banana esters, yeast, similar to what a Duvel would smell like only with maybe some more spicy hops. The taste is creamy, banana, spicy hops, this is actually really delicious, over eight months hasnít hurt this beer at all in my opinion, would love to try a fresh bottle though. High carbonation and bubbly mouthfeel, nice beer.
