Pale golden with a frothy head. The aroma of a Belgian. The perfect balance of biscuity malt with citrusy hops. A great example of US meets Belgian.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. Slightly hazy and a little bit effervescent. Aroma is awesome - dry and lightly spicy with some nice floral spicy hoppiness. A nice bright citrus flavour on the finish as well. Lean Belgiany sort of malts and a slightly crackery finish. Really bright and fresh. Quaffable.

Draft at J. Clyde. Pours golden with an inch of thick white foam. Big grass notes on the nose. Very grassy and spicy on the tongue plus there’s some of that Belgian yeast thing as well. The hop flavor in the finish lingers a bit. Very nice!

A very nice aroma, not too sweet, with a bit of caramel and some citrus. The flavor has a nice sweetness up front and then gets quite bitter on the swallow. Perfectly balanced, dry and refreshing.

Pours golden orange with a light haze to it and a pillowy white head. The aroma has fruitiness, spice, grass, tangerine, Belgian fruitiness and a touch of saison rustic qualities. Really nice aroma. It has a medium crisp body that is very refreshing and a decent amount of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts out mainly with dry earthy saison traits that has a very rustic flavor to it. There is a bit of stone fruit there, but it’s a bit buried. The finish shows off the hops with spice, pine, tangerine mixed with the dry saison traits from earlier. Excellent beer.

Definitely not one you can pigeonhole into the typical Belgian categories. Wheaty, citrusy, and hoppy, with Belgian yeast. It's interesting and unusual to be sure, but I'm still trying to make up my mind how much I like it. For now, B- ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
