3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy pale gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is bready, fruity and peppery yeast, floral, citrus and spicy hops and a little toast and cereal. Flavor is loaded with pepper and doughy, toasty bread up front followed by some nice, bright citrus, spicy and grassy hops and finishing up with some lasting bready yeast, and spicy, floral and citrus hops. light to medium body, with a neutral entry, dry, slightly chalky feel after that and light to medium carbonation. Good stuff overall, nice hop blend.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Total Wine, served at about 50 degrees. At $2.99, a steal!
Pretty beer: cloudy yellow pour with a fluffly white head. Lovely aroma; dusty yeast and lemon peel hops meld very nicely into something that is super-enticing. Flavor is amply hopped, lots of white grapefruit juice with a decided belgian flavor--but none of the esters that mar so many US "Belgian ipas". Instead, this is a beer in something of the De Ranke XX vein, and a very nice one. Dry, dusty, delicious. It packs a huge amount of flavor for 5.7% and feels plenty full on the tongue. You could easily have convinced me it was 7 or 8 percent. Great beer if you are in the mood for a hop blast. I’m astounded that it isn’t rated higher on here.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy pale amber. Nose of fruit skin, Belgian yeast, mild spice, and sweet malt. Flavor is a mix of pine and citrus rind with Belgian candy, yeast, and fruit syrup. Good carb, a bit heavier than I would like. Semi-dry lingering fruit skins and malt.

Big foamy head that sticks around. Golden pour. Yeasty aroma with some pepper and bread. Flavor is nice with a hit of bitterness. The finish is super dry and the bitterness lingers. Well done.

Cloudy gold. Explosive carbonation on the pour. Moderate head retention. Phenols are dominant on the nose with the hops lurking just underneath. Fairly dry.

I haven’t had a Belgian this potent in the nose in awhile. Peppery phenols, fruit juice, straw base, citrus zest and cat piss. The flavor falls off just a bit, but it still delivers. Lots of traditional Belgian spice, straw, citrus, crackers....not a lot of sweetness here...really good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer pours a straw yellow with a little under a one finger head that dissipates quite quickly leaving fair lacing and good carbonation.
The aroma reminds me of a Belgian Wit, the yeast sitting strong.
On first tasting this almost hit like the aroma, a good wit, but as first impression quickly fade this beer is more akin to an American saison. Very dry in the finish with hints that it was fermented at a high heat, but then again it has traveled a long way to get here and this could be attributed to the travels.
Overall, an interesting beer with strong Saison yeast carecter. It wont be to everyones taste, but worth trying if your a fan of Saisons.
