3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy pale gold pour with a 2 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is bready, fruity and peppery yeast, floral, citrus and spicy hops and a little toast and cereal. Flavor is loaded with pepper and doughy, toasty bread up front followed by some nice, bright citrus, spicy and grassy hops and finishing up with some lasting bready yeast, and spicy, floral and citrus hops. light to medium body, with a neutral entry, dry, slightly chalky feel after that and light to medium carbonation. Good stuff overall, nice hop blend.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Evenly hazy translucent orange yellow with a cm of white head. Aroma is lemon and rose with some sulfur, and taste is a more delicate version of the same with a nice biscuity finish. And a clean, bubbly mouthfeel that brings the finish together. $3/12oz

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/31/2013. Pours lightly hazy pale gold color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of of big lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, floral, grass, straw, light bubblegum, wheat, cracker, herbal and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hops, and light-moderate malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, floral, grass, straw, wheat, cracker, herbal, light bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of earthy bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, clove, grass, straw, herbal, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great hop/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly prickly/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian IPA. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and light-moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle about 3 months old. It pours a lightly hazy yellow color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is fruity, candy spiced yeast esters with some citrus, banana and menthol. The flavor is rock candy, citrus, florals, fruit basket with fairly strong fruit spiced yeast character to go along with the hoppy profile. The finish is nicely dialed back on the bitterness and focuses more on the yeast. Pretty interesting beer. Good hop flavor.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden in color, clear with a thin head. Bad aroma with lots of skunk. Leads to not a overwhelming great beer. I think it was light struck.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. Pale golden with one finger head. Light body with medium hops. I was expecting more of a hop bomb, but this was a very well done, balanced beer with plenty of hop flavor, but certainly not over the top.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour from a 12 oz. bottle. Apricot, peach, and light smoke scents. Dry smell with some tartness. Aroma is pleasant but could stand to be stronger. Pours a hazy, pale gold/brass with a slight orange or apricot tint. Light effervescence. Small to moderate amount of uneven, long-lasting, off-white head. Apricot and hoppiness are the most obvious initial flavors. Fruit sweetness; yellow raisin and vanilla. That said, the sweetness overlies a fundamental dryness. The Belgian character really shows through. Exceedingly pleasant taste. Dry aftertaste. Light to medium body. Soft and insubstantial in the palate. A well balanced and likable beer overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Bottle (355ml)] Great beer name! Pours a hazy pale gold with a huge long-lasting foamy white head. A good amount of lacing. Mild, lightly soapy aroma, herbal and grassy as well, along with wheat, bread, grain and finally some citrus fruit. Flavour is herbal, slightly spicy and hoppy along with some grain, citrus and a long bitter finish. Quite carbonated. Average to medium bodied. I didnít love this, it just didnít quite work for me.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap at New Bohemia. Apricot color maybe leaning towards light orange. Quickly dissipating head and not much glass cling. Aroma moves towards citrus with some hops presence. Strong grapefruit with bitterness knocking down the door. The end is below average...kind of sour. Why canít this be better?
