(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of bread dough, light vanilla and coconut, with a hint of floral hops and barnyard. flavour is mostly straw and pale malts, light floral hops, very clean, with a minerally finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle by 15.01.13. Nose is grainy pale malt with a little honey and a touch of Bockish white grape. Pours dull clear golden with a fizzy and noisy white head. Taste is lightly sweet with some bitterness, really follows the Heller Bock model established above. Smooth, malt-forward, clean and repeatable, and it ultimately grew on me with volume.

Golden pour with moderate white head. Nice grainy body with nice little bite. Refreshing.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Clear, yellow appearance with a nice white head. Sweet grainy, pale malty, perfume/floral hoppy aroma. Light fish, a bit metallic, grainy, light husky, herbal flavor. Seems a bit off though the aroma was pretty good.

It’s golden with a white head, and the aroma has notes of flower, straw and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw and light citrus. It’s a refreshing beer.

Part of the Nurnberg Beer Raid 2011. On tap at the 14.Fränkisches Bierfest in Nurnberg , Germany. Pours a clear gold color with a big foamy white head. A salty malt aroma. Taste is a rough malt with some earth in it. Palate is aslo a bit rough but ok.

bottle from landbierparadies24.de. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Malty, grainy with hints of biscuits. Very shy hop flavours.

Draught in Bayreuth. Pale gold, medium-high, fine, head. Light, soft, grainy malt flavor with low hops, though a bit of citrus comes through. Quite sweet, low bitterness, though tasty, light, and clean. Decent lemony fruitiness, and a peppery finish. Nice enough.
