Bottle at Griese. Hazy blond-orange. Very spicy, banana and yeast. Taste is wheat and a touch of fruit tartness. Highly carbed. Decent and quaffable.

Bottle at Griess. Really ropy, cloudy yellow pour with thick white head. Aroma is really spicy, not just clove, some allspice and pepper in there as well, light banana, really yeasty. Taste is yeasty, spicy, bready finish, pretty sweet. Intense carbonation makes it a bit hard to drink. OK.

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts intense malty-yeasty, modest sourish, not very dry. Finish malty-bready, still sourish, unbalanced. Not so good.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes godlgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

1500th RB rating entered for Germany. Bottle marked 15.01.13. Nose of heavy with with citrus and some yeast. Faint hint of acetone. Cloudy, bright yellow body with a soapy white head. Very aggressive, crisp light body with medium bitterness (and a little astringency, too much for a HW in any case) and light tartness, light numbing. Good citrus and very bright, with some cream. Positives here despite the flaws.

Bottled (from landbierparadies.com). Hazy yellowish orange colour, mediumsized white creamy head, that leaves a bunch of lace. Aroma is very big on the banana estery notes, some slight citrus and mild nectary notes. After pouring the yeast the aroma loses some of the fruity and nectary notes and turns more herbal and yeasty with some mild spicy notes. Flavour is fruity, bananaish, citrusy and mild resiny notes, after yeast gets in the sweetness mellows out into a nice slightly spicy yeastyness along with the wheat, toffee and mild fruity notes. Big citrusy and toffeeish finiish. A bit too "biting" carbonation, otherwise a nice wheat beer.
