500ml bottle (Araxes, Tallinn)
Classic pale lager aroma - light to feeble breadiness. Watery and fizzy palate. Touch metalic in the mouth. Very extracty hoppiness. Dull vaguely bready malts. Quite well attenuated, so I guess it’s not been lagered in too much of a rush. But it’s still bit metallic and chemical. Not actually nasty though. 1.9 seems like an overrate, but I don’t know what to drop.

Bottle. pale blonde. Apple in the grainy aroma and flavor. Thinnish. Boring pale lager, but at least it is drinkable.

Weak appearance, body and taste. More sour-bitter bite than most, which is actually a nice feature.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Clear, golden, small foamy layer, sweetish grainy-corny nosebwith some strawy traces; very light bodied for a beer of 5.0%, light sweetish flavour; moderate traces of hops in the short sweetish finish. Yawn...

(bottle, 5.0% abv, bought today in a Russian supermarket in Bochum, Germany) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly grainy malty aroma with a milky touch and shy traces of herbal hops far in the background. Moderately sweet and faintly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character, slightly buttery taste, “enriched” by grainy elements; medium-dry malty finish with very restrained hoppy notes. Nevertheless drinkable. 23.VI.10
