Sweet and slightly grainy malty, slightly biscuity aroma with light notes of citrus (mandarins) and peppery, herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid pale malty, biscuity and slightly honey-fruity taste; sweet and slightly bitter finish with an apparent alcoholic note and a light, spicy hops character. Not a perfectly rounded but likeable Bock (01.03.08). pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany Mar 2, 2008 Bottle (diky, Quack-Ducku !): Deep golden, creamy + stable (off-)white head; clean, distinctive sweet-grainy, honeyish nose with a tinge of toasted malt and shy aromatic hops; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty, toasted malty finish combined with a secret fruitiness and a good touch of aromatic hops in the aftertaste. Good, tasty, chewy brew.......... Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jan 15, 2008 bottle, bought at the brewery. Numbered bottle: #16241. Clear golden yellow, medium-size head. Malty and sweet with herbal hopy and hints of herbs and spices. Well-balanced. Lingering finish with flavours of herbs.
