Pours bright yellow‐orange with thick disappearing head. Aroma is quite typical to this style with butter, some grassy hops and grainy malt. Flavour is sweetish with grainy malt, butter, some grass and hints of herbs. Your typical helles.

Das Blaubändele ist ein helles Lagerbier ausm Allgäu. Es ist für ein Helles relativ dunkelgelb mit satter Schaumkrone. Ein ausschließliches Malzaroma ist wahrnehmbar. Der Antrunk ist ebenfalls malzdominiert und leicht blumig, für ein Helles könnte es frischer und weniger süß sein. Im Abgang wirds blumiger und erinnert an Veilchen. Für mich zwar kein typisches Helles, aber durchaus gelungen und probierenswert!

It’s golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, a little celluloses and fruit and the slightly sweet flavor has notes of malt, hay, light bread and straw, and the finish is slightly dry.

500ml bottle from bierzwerg.de! The beer in glass is golden, clear, with fine, flat, long-lasting crown. The smell appears dominant hoppy, slightly sweet. The Blaubändele starts mild hoppy, with a slightly sweet background. The aftertaste is also shown hoppy and sweet. The finish is then citrus-bitter and hoppy-grassy.

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized bubbly foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grass and mild herbal notes in the aroma. Flavour is bready and sweet malts along with some slight grassy and earthy notes. Quite pleasant balance and refreshing.

Bottle. Sweet creamy malt and light grass hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with nice head and moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Medium body. Nice average Helles.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Pale blonde. Hay in the aroma. Malty yet dryish hopbitter flavor with hay and hints of citrus. Well made helles.
