A damn fine beer, I would drink it until my liver gave way. Nothing offensive at all, just beer bliss. Would get again fo sho. I had to eat my words with this one, the herbs and spices actually made this a very unique and tasty beer. is it a traditional or good representation of a saison? hell no, but it is really tasty, smells amazing, and is fun and easy to drink

12 oz bottle. Poured a nice golden color with large white head. Very nice aroma of spices and citrus but more so a very strong aroma of lemon pepper. So far so good. Very nice taste. Has the spice flavor that I enjoy and was expecting. I probably didn’t have this beer cold enough but was still very nice. I love the spice and pepper flavor. Good good beer.

On tap @ Papago. Liquid gold pour produced a 1/2 inch fluffy ivory head that left a ring or two of lacing. Aroma is herbal with citrus and lemongrass making their self known. Flavor is extremely lemony...with citrus and spice also finding their way. Not a ton of earth or pepper...pretty one dimensional. Not a huge fan.

Poured a clear yellow with a stable white head. Huge aroma of vegetables, herbs, spices, and lemon. Taste of vegetables, pepper, banana, and pale malts. Bitter hoppy lemon finish. Very flavorful and unique. This one is quite good!

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft at Lure’s near Annapolis. Golden beer with a thin but well laced head. The aroma hints at an odd spiciness -- Ginger? -- and right from the first sip you know this is "different". Rife with an odd blend of flavors Rhys reminiscent of cough drops, this isn’t exactly a mainline beer. Sometimes weird appeals to me but this didn’t at all. (#3943, 7/13/2010)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a chill-hazed gold with fluffy, big bubbled head. Nose is skunk, chlorophyll and very herbal. The skunk seems to be from some quality hops, though. Not necessarily light struck. On taste, the skunk is gone. Sweet pils malts comes through with some fresh and spicy hops. The rosemary and sage really fluff it out with some pine type notes. I get some light citrus as well. Interesting for sure and a well-enough made saison.

Interesting aroma of fruity grapefruit and Rosemary. Taste is similar to aroma, nice and tart. Nice bone dry finish. Good carbonation.. Wouldn’t expect anything less!

Bottle pours a cloudy golden beer with thick frothy white head. Scent is a unique blend of the rosemary and hops. Taste is more thyme and hops. It is spicy. Different and pleasing to the wife (a saison fan) and me (not a fan of saisons).

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from SL. Pour was pale golden yellow with a big head, pillowy. The aroma was light wheat and herbs with faint pepper. The flavor followed and was interesting... Heck, if Fantome can put dandelions in their saisons then why not BUFF going with some Simon and Garfunkel? Mouthfeel was spritzy and dry. Could have benefited in style from some more acidic and sour elements.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from Winooski bevereage warehouse.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a huge foamy whote head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Very spicy. Crisp hops, some fruity esters. Flowery and yeasty. Spices comes up in front of everything else. Light peppery notes. Some passion fruits also.
Taste : Spicy and floral. Some yeast. Finish is rather bitter still with a lot of spices. Intense spices. Carbonation is really soft. A bit pepery. Herbal also.
Overall : Lovely yeasty and spicy nose. Spices are a bit too much but it is still an amazing aroma. Very easydrinking and refreshing. Soft carbonations makes it even more drinkable. Very nice beer. Perfect summer drink.
