Very much enjoying this. Typically the fresh stone beers are pretty hoppy and bitter but this is nice and complex with minimal bitterness. Can definitely taste the muscat grapes. Also a little floral funky. Great beer!

Cellared for almost a full year. Pours a bronze orange fruity looking slightly cloudy color with a nice head. The aroma off this beer is phenomenally fruits, nuts, and berries. Extremely sweet smelling. Tastes of sweet fruits and berries with a slight nutty flavor to balance it out. For 9.5% not boozy at all, although it has a warming sensation throughout your core after a few sips. Very well matured and composed beer compared to last years tasting during the holidays. Great overall beer, canít wait till 11/11/11....

Drinking 11/10/11Smell is Chamomile, belgian yeast, apricots, alcohol, and apples. Poured fairly flat. Light orange color not a whole lot of carbonation. Taste is lots of carbonation, apple sauce, belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is light, taste is snappy. Some alcohol burn. Probably not the best bottle conditioning on this one. The taste is a bit disjointed and amateurish. Not what I remember at all. Enjoyability 3/5

Interesting aroma, jelly beans, coriander, grapes, and grapefruit. Smell is rather dry and tart, with a pear after taste. Good but not what not as interesting as some of itís predecessors.

Not the best vertical epic I have tasted. Still the pour is pretty amber with a small white head. On the nose I do pick up some of the muscat and Gewurztraminer notes that I would associate with wines made from tose grapes. On the palate it is well balanced between hops sweetness and fruit.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small-medium white head. Aroma is white wine, grapes, spicy Belgian yeast. Taste is very sweet, more white wine and spice from the yeast. Finish is dry, slightly tart. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad, interesting.

aroma of belgian yeast, malts, grape wine,a floral quality and spices interesting..hazy yellow appearance slightly amber tinged thin head some lacing..taste follows the nose sort of a belgian/sweet white wine mixture with the spices and florals adding to it again interesting, lightly carbonated slightly sticky on the mouth and palate, sweetens as it warms, not unlike dogfish heads midas touch in several ways.. not my favorite type or style but a different and interesting beer in a good way

Very intriguing beer from Stone; I am used to the hop grenades and alcohol bombs, but this beer is something a bit different. Strong, broad palate on the malt and sugar, with the yeast aromas present in most Belgians. Very well balanced and easy drinking beer for being a strong Belgian.

10.10.10 pours a glowing golden color. White fluffy head pours with good lacing. Smell consists of Belgian yeast, sweet malt, and grapes. There is a hint of alcohol that burns the nose hairs a bit.
While the grapes were evident in the aroma they are even more evident in the taste. The grape flavor just keeps on adding up here. But so is the alcohol. Burns the throat. Iíll be interested to see if the heat dies down over time on this one. Rounding it out is kind of a per-fumy taste. Itís weird. Then of course the Belgian Yeast, some citrus, and a earthy characteristic. Itís a weird beer but it somehow works. Funny thing is, I had a friend come into work today and tell me he had the same beer last night and he couldnít stand it. He hated the grapes in the beer. This is why we review beer. I love other peoples opinions.
Mouthfeel was slick but on the thicker side. Syrupy.
