COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stone 10th Anniversary IPA harkens back to our earlier Anniversary Ales, with abundant hopping at many stages of the brewing process. Appropriately, the aroma is over-the-top, with pronounced piney and resiny hop flavors combined with tropical fruit esters and more subtle notes of toasted malts and alcohol. Our Stone 10th Anniversary Ale weighs in at 10% alcohol by volume (perfect for a 10th anniversary beer), and has a little more color and malt character than our other IPAs. In addition to using the new Summit hop variety in the brewhouse to provide the powerful bitterness, we went back through our records and found some of our favorite hops over the years, and used them to flavor this brew, including Chinook, Crystal, and large doses of Simcoe in the dry-hop to provide a huge, complex, piney, fruity and floral hop character. This is a colossal beer, big in every sense: hoppy, malty, rich, and strong! Right up our alley.

Dry hopped, malty, thick copper color, nice foam head and a bit of fruit, looks like another great seasonal from Stone. Enjoy

No head, light amber. Lemon? Draft beer at the bar in Richmond. Pretty good.

Pours a rich, amber-hued gold with nice off-white head. Nose is brightly resinous, rich apricot and drippy pineapple, gently toasted malt, some candied orange and lemon, healthy dose of fresh flowers too. Flavor is gently-candied tropical fruits, pineapple, papaya, red apple, little bit of canned tangerines, elusive pine notes, leafy wet flowers linger hard. Medium-full body. Very balanced, heavy on the bright tropical medley, big flowers. It’s very good, but the balance skews a little high-noted and fruit-forward. Kind of a "diagonal" shape in the minds eye. Still great.

Bomber poured a deep gold hue w/ large foamy head and sticky lacing. Moderate tropical aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are pineapple, graham cracker, piney and resinous hop, mango, and light toast. Medium bodied and light warmth to the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau. Pine and resin aromas. Clear copper with small off white head. Taste is piney, sticky, alcohol burn. Side to side with the 5 year and the 5 year carried the day.

650ml bottle from Ray’s in Tosa, as part of the anniversary pack. Shared with bananabi11. 8/17/2016 bottle date so less than one month old. Orange amber pour, very clear, with a bit of an off-orange head. Hoppy nose. Pineapple. Other citrus. Pine. Overripe fruits. Some alcohol. The blend is solid. Finishes more bitter than bittersweet. Thanks Stone for re-releasing! 14

11 oz pour at City Beer, during their Stone 20th anniversary event. Oily copper golden pout with a thin fizz head. Hop heavy aroma from a distance with a noticeable booziness. A dominant tropical fruit profile. Full of pineapple. Some imperial heat to linger in the finish, but doesn’t overpower. Drinks nice as an overall. Solid stuff.

Tapped at the Stone tasting room in San Diego. Clear copper color. Thick soapy head. Aroma of malt, sweet fruits of the forest, citrus. Taste mirrors the aroma plus good bitter hops. Boozy, warming alcohol. Nice double IPA.
