Received in the Mystery Homebrew Swap, i forget who sent it though! Sorry! There’s definitely some noticable age to it. Malty, caramel malts, with some spicy hops in the nose. Pours amber with a thin white head. Very malty, some caramel, the hop flavor has diminished a little but its still pretty good, and it definitely doesn’t taste like 10%! The hops do leave it with a big spicy finish with traces of pine. Good but i’d love to have tried this very young!

Aug 26, 2008 Aged for almost 2 years. This beer is huge. Big on the citrus hops. Big on the malt. Something about these west coast beers really "wow" me and it’s definitely how clean and pronounced the malt is, while still being balanced by such big hops. You get all the flavor from every ingredient. Thank you Stone!

Aug 26, 2008 Draft. Poured a dark amber with thin dissappating white head, very nice lacing. Aroma was floral hops, with grassy citrus undertone. Very well balanced with a crisp bitter finish. Went down smooth and was very refreshing.

Aug 26, 2008 Dayton Alefest sample. Dark amber, average white head and good lacing. Aroma of floral, earthy hops. Flavor has a nice balance of malt sweetness. Very drinkable for 10%. I wish I could get a bottle.

Aug 25, 2008 Golden/Amber color with an off white head. Citrus aroma, with a smooth citrus taste. Hoppy and bitter from start to finish.

Aug 22, 2008 Amber in color with a small, off white head with minimal lacing. The aroma is of citrus and fruits. The flavor is very hoppy and fruity with a note of caramel. Bitter throughout. The texture is syrupy. I’d say its a very good IPA, very enjoyable: I like this beer =)
