4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is just missing on the nose. A very balanced overhopped over malted DIPA. Really this is what I would want from a DIPA. Perfect sticky thickness. Perfect flavors on the tongues. An awesome beer in every way. Aroma only thing lacking it has a bit of alcohol and strong stickiness. I want to brew this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/18/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big apricot, peach, pineapple, tangerine, mango, papaya, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of huge apricot, peach, pineapple, tangerine, mango, papaya, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/herbal/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, peach, pineapple, tangerine, mango, papaya, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and slightly slick/resinous balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a mild warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dirty orange brown with thin lasting head and clean lacing. Aroma is a good, subtly strong mix of dry hopped goodness, booze, and caramel malts. Taste is interesting - pretty vacant up front, into a malty rich middle, then a bit of hops come through to dry it out just enough in the end. Low evidence of ABV. Not bad!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas of caramel, apricot, tangerine, amber malts, some faint rye, herbs and cracker. Pours a golden copper with a thin white foam. Taste brings clean bitterness alongside candied caramel, sweet tangerine, apricot, stale grapefruit, stone fruit and metallic maltiness. Mid palate brings bright orange, citrus, orange zest, tangerine zest, lemon spruce and deep amber malts. Finishes with some bright citrus notes and distinctive caramel, deep malt, wort syrup and cracker notes. Overall, this is more on the malty side yet some oddball hop notes dance about. Sort of jumbled flavor profile on this one. B+ rating.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
651 ml. bottle. Shared with Gabe. Pours a medium, well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, over a clear amber (SRM 10) body......nose is light toasted malts, with cracker, biscuit notes, pine, resin, citrus tones from the hops, balance to the hops......taste is floral, honey sweet, with toasted malt tones, pine, resin, tangerine, melon from the hops, finishing with a moderate hop bitterness, balance to the hops......mouth feel, medium slightly sticky body, alcohol warmth present, carbonation adds mild acid. The malts aerr milder than many in the history of the style, but are bigger than many of the more recent craft releases. The sweetness is a bit simple, but the hops correct for that. BJCP 9/3/14/5/8
