(Draught) Pours a clear copper body with a medium beige head. Aroma of dates, raisins, Peeps Easter candies, leather, Belgian yeast, cinnamon, banana, caramel, and rye. Flavor of dates, raisins, wood, cinnamon, mild chilies, banana, vanilla, and herbs.

Medicincy, not medicinal, but in a foreign country kind of way. Amber with an alcohol consistency, and that means runny. Some vegetable spice herb bullshit going on. Just make beer stone. Why? Smells like something i donít want to take when Iím sick. Tastes like a pumpkin ale. Fail. But Iím sure the ingredients were expensive... unfortunately an occasional poor indicator of quality.... which does not equate to enjoyment.

Bottle pours a lightly hazy deep brownish amber with a medium creamy off white head that lefty spoty lacing. Aroma of chocolate, chilis, toasted malt, hints of toffee. Flavor of chilis, chocolate, earthy notes, piney hops, hints of cinnamon and some banana/clove. Not a fan of beers with peppers but this one isnít overdone.

Clear brown pour with a small white head. Chocolate chili peppers and doughy spice lead to hints of booze and really weird phenols. Medium body with low carbonation. Funky chili pepper finish. Very mediocre.

Amber red pour, on draught at Churchkey. Nose and flavor both hold both kinds of spice, with cinnamon and nutmeg along with some good chili presence. Candied sugar and caramel comes through as well. Palate is underwhelming. This series has gotten worse and worse.

22 oz bottle. Pours a red amber with a yellowy off-white head. Aroma has red grape, a little yeasty banana, a hint of tartness. Flavor has some dark fruit, cocoa powder, earthiness. An interesting flavor that I canít place until I remember seeing the note about Anaheim chilies. I also get the cinnamon a little. Seems pretty well done, but I just donít think I can get totally into this.

Bottle from Samís. Much better price (~$9.50) than I saw elsewhere. Pours amber-caramel brown, pretty much clear with a light yellowish head. Nose of sweet malts, mild hops, toffee, earthy vegetal notes, spice, and cinnamon. Nose shows a bit of the chiles, but the taste doesnít exactly show them. There is something there, but I wouldnít have picked out chiles first. Lots more spice and candied sugar on the taste. Sweet. Turned out to be a good post-Thanksgiving dinner beer and went well with pecan/bourbon/chocolate chip pie, but it was honestly sort of a mess. Seems like the base beer without the chiles and cinnamon was good, so that saved it to some degree.

Bottle: Dark caramel pour with a finger of sandy head. I can smell the chiles, but thats where it ends. Light chile aroma and some spiciness from the cinnamon and maybe cloves too. Flavor is more of the spices and Belgian yeast. The yeast is a nice compliment. Smooth and good; damn I wanted to taste those chiles, but it just didnít happen for me. Still a nice brew.

Copper/Ruby pour - 1 finger of head. Iím getting Peppers, Grass and some funk from the years in the aroma. Fruit and chiliís in the taste. A bit of herbal grassiness, candy, yeast, very little cinnamon if any. After a few drinks the Chiliís become dominant. Spicy. Thin body, prickly carbonation. The chili and grassiness work against this beer - I could probably cook with a few splashes though.

Bottle shared at the 6th annual Richmond Industry Gathering, 11/27/11. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of peppery, earthy notes, stone fruits, toffee malts. The taste is peppers, stone fruits and pale malts in the finish. Medium bodied.
