Draft at Tampa Palms WOB. Pours a slightly hazy copper amber color. Small white head, but good sudsy webbed lacing along the glass. Aroma has nice herbal notes along with the pine and citrus hops. Flavor is interesting as the tea comes through more in the aftertaste.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 ericdevin (232) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse. Pours an opaque golden orange, little to no head. Aroma is strangely reminiscient of a bottle of Lipton’s Iced Tea, verbenna, tea nd not all that much in the way of hops. Body is very rich and almost treacly. Finish is bitter at first on the resinous side of things, and then opens up, becoming increasingly sweet, warming making itself known. LOVE the addition of tea, this is a big improvement over the OG 16th, which wasn’t bad but also wasn’t of the quality I am used to from Stone.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bwa5879 (301) - Portage, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2013
On tap at Kalamazoo Beer Exchange
Aroma: minty like toothpaste, in a good way. Some orange citrus and lemongrass, some pineapple too, not too strong.
Appearance: Super cloudy light caramel brown. White head about an eighth inch high.
Taste: Slightly tingly in mouthfeel, full bodied for sure. Piney citrus flavor at first, some heat, then stronger tea flavor.
Finish: Bitter, slightly dry. Tea flavor is left over, coriander flavor is present as well. A little heat too.
Overall: Unique IPA. I prefer the original but this is certainly worth a whirl.

2 finger head with lots of lace. Aroma of pineapple and a gym locker. Medium mouth. Taste has some flowery notes but the green tea really dominates anything that is in there. Interesting beer with the green tea action.

Hazed golden in color with soft white head. Starts hoppy then becomes herbal with a defined green tea taste. Light hop aroma with those same green tea notes.
