Baby’s got bite!! Excellent (and extreme) grapefruit-pine hoppiness permeates the aroma and the flavor, placing this hophead well on the road to Nirvana. There is some maltiness to keep this beer from becoming unbalanced. Cloudy orange with minimal head.

22oz bottle thanks to mark!.... cloudy orange and caramel brown pour with a thin very light brown head.... caramel malts, somewhat biscuity in nature, dominated the nose. very little life left in the hops at this point... flavors were sweet and biscuity, semi-oxidized caramel malts with a tough of bitterness towards the end but nothing substantial. above average mouthfeel. as others noted, wish i could have had this fresh but glad to have tried it anyhow.

At the Brewery, deep oarange pour with thick off white head. The nose is subdued grassy and floral hops, probably due to age. The flavor is similar with a malt influence. Wish I could have had this fresh.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark orange pour with not much of a head or carbonation. Aroma is dry hops and some sour notes. I was beginning to think this bad boy had turned on me. After tasting it, I realize that it had. The flavor wasn’t awful but it was a little off. Sour and dry hops with some citrus and a very grassy finish. I wish I would’ve drank it earlier, and I can’t in good conscience give it a low rating, although it tasted similar to the Ruination.

Bottle at Stone Winter Storm. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Cereal and caramel aroma. Sweet, caramel. citrus, cereal, and yeasty taste.

Thanks alot to Sam from the Stuffed Sandwich for this gem. The aroma of hops was gone from the nose but you could still taste them on long finish. It was mellow and slightly citrusy with nice sweet spices. not alot of carbonation but still an all around excellent beer. in my experience BIG ipas are best enjoyed within the first three years.Wish i could’ve had it a few years back.
