Draft. Orange pour with tan head. Fruit, tart tones, Belgian yeast aromas. Tart fruit, light Belgian flavors, perhaps some spice and oak. Enjoyed more than expected.

Draft. Poured hazy orange copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex spice, yeast and bourbon aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark bourbon sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a solid beer.

on tap at Blue Monk, Buffalo. Reddish orange pour. Bourbon, toasted coconut, wood notes in both aroma & flavor. Malty sweetness. OK

10oz on tap at Lackman, thanks to tmoney99. Hazy red orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Loose dots of lace. Caramel, toasty, kind of spicy, wood and citrus. Kind of a bretty flavor, the belgian pale ale aspect reminds me of a bit of something like an orvall, a brett pale ale. The bourbon barrel aging seems to work well on top of that. Good earthy bourbon woody flavor, lighter on the vanilla and spice, more woodsy, I dig it. Moderate tart taste, moderate to bigger bitter, light bit of nice warmth. Enjoyable stuff to sip on. I dig this. Bright, yet rich. Good balance of brett and bourbon. Heavier, yet somehow still easy to sip on. I dig it.

On tap at Daily Growler, UA. Gold pour with thin white head and spotty lacing. Aroma is surprisingly tart fruit and woody. Tastes are toffee, bread, little bourbon, oak, faint sour. Strange brew. Interesting tho.

On Tap at Red Star Bar in Chicago -- I was very surprised by this beer. I am not a fan of Belgian Ales, but the oak and bourbon really mellowed out the yeasty busy parts of the Belgian that I dislike. Very surprising beer, with flavors that keep you sipping and contemplating.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a orangeish amber topped with a small head. Nose is belg yeast oak barrel and some bourbon notes. Taste is as the nose with a light bourbon barrel touch.

Bourbon barrel aged version, rich and robust, nice sticky amber body. Barrel aging adds a whole other level of complexity to this beer, smoke, nuts and maple syrup. Nicely done
