2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma lacked complexity and was very one note. Appearance was also very bland as well. Lacing was inconsistent and runny in several types of glassware. Hops over powered the malt mixture which threw off the balance. Could not get the flory, citrus, and resin elements that they claimed. I think this was a decent first shot at a commercial IPA, but better luck next time.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Stone Cellar. Filtered looking orange-tan. Thin, oily, patchy head..probably due to the frozen glass. Mild and watery English IPA, not so impressive, but not so bad either. Orange toffee tones, on the light side of full bodied. A little watery but pretty decent, if you are feeling nice. Orange toffee biscuit.

Heidel House Brewfest. Hazy amber/orange in color. Aroma of biscuity/doughy malt, caramel and light citrus hops. Flavor is a fairly sweet caramel malt with bread-like/yeast undertones. Light to moderate citrus bitterness that fades. Residual biscuit/caramel.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle i picked up at the brewery. Pours a translucent copper color with a small white head that soon fades to a fine film. The aroma features light citrus hops and a big dose of caramel. The flavor was mildly biter with some citrus and pine, but a big malt presence really dominated. I get lots of breads, dough, biscuit and caramel. The palate was medium with lively carbonation. Finished dry with lingering biter notes. Overall: Very interesting take on the IPA, it gets a thumbs up from me.
