4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours deep red with a small beige head. Smells strongly of dank earthy hops. Taste is bitter, with a wood like dryness. Full-bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale finishes with a phenolic bitterness.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Amber with off white head - A strong hop aroma of a lot of pine and resin - Malt in the back but the most dominant flavour is just piney and resins from hops - The resins goes into a long bitter dry hop finish - I like hops, but this was WAY over the top with just resins and pine, not my kind of beer this

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish-brown with a tan head. Taste sweet, citrus, pine, bitter. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was a pleasant surprise. Quietly harboring 7.2% ABV, this one pours a beautiful deep mahogany brown, sports a head about 3/4 of an inch, and seems to hit the tongue with a rich but very subtle hint of black cherry flavor. That contrasts nicely with a slightly bitter conclusion after each gulp. This Ale is correct "I am not worthy".

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy mahogany color with a full tan head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel and zesty citrus. Taste of rich malty sweetness quickly obliterated by bitterness. Extreme, but a rite of passage for beer aficionados.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (1P6FlOz): Brown with red, hazy cloud, with moderate light tan head. Malty, caramel, moderate pine, citrus, resin edge. Dense. Off dry, Not sour, high bitterness that balances sweetness to provide dry beer. Very dense palate. Long. Malt, caramel and chocolate flavors. A beast but balanced for a strong ale. Layers of aroma and flavor.
