Really good stuff if you are into strong ales. Bourbon really comes thru and the hops are very present at the back end. Another good brew by stone.

Bottle. The pour is a hazy amber color with a nice white head. The aroma is a nice subtle booziness to it, very smooth and good blend in the nose. The taste has little to no bourbon to it, and what is there is a little harsh. It almost does a disservice to the regular arrogan bastard.

Bottle. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Bourbon and caramel backing aroma with PNW hops. Bourbon and grapefruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine linger with light caramel and light bourbon. Bourbon starts off and gives way to hops. Good balance between the two.

Enjoyed this quite a bit. Sweet bourbon aroma and taste with that base bastard poking through. Not a ton of barrel but the added vanilla is there. Nice beer. Love that it's in sixers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a transparent amber with foamy dark cream/pale beige head. Smells malty with notes of oak and a big bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a bit of caramel and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied. Good, not great.

Pours a slightly hazy copper from the bottle with fluffy tan head that lasts and leaves moderate lace. Aroma of sweet bourbon vanilla and fruity yeast notes. Taste is more toward the base beer, pronounced bitterness, fruity back end, minimal vanilla notes. The barrel falls a little short on the mouth, but good stuff anyway.

12 oz bottle pour at my moms house. Aroma of caramel and booze. Very bitter and hoppy. Just a hint of bourbon at the end to provide some sweetness. Pours a caramel color with thick tan head. Not bad

12 oz. Bottle thanks to T. j. Thank buddy! Deep Amber color with thick foamy head. Aroma is mild, toasted grain, dark fruits and a toffee / caramel aroma.

Where the hell is the bourbon? It tastes like the regular Arrogant Bastard. Slick, oily mouthfeel. Sweet lingering malts taste. Light lingering oak but no bourbon. Good beer but not what is advertised.

12oz bottle shared by Chalumeaux. Thanks, TJ! Pours mahoghany with a light beige head. Aroma is caramel, dank, floral. Flavor is the same, with a bit if oak. no actual bourbons were harmed in the making of this beer.
