I paid $18.00 for this six pack. The owner of the liquor store said he could drink this brew all day.
I feel like I could have purchased a lot of good beer for that money. I can hardly drink the beer. I like bourbon, but not beer that tastes like bourbon. This beer is over priced and over rated. If you want to try it, I suggest buying a smaller bottle in case you donít like it.

(Old BA rate - tap)
Fairly vibrant dark brown/orange color, with a thin bubbly off-white head. No lacing or retention. Bourbon is right up front; woody; touch of sweetish malt. Mellower bourbon flavor than suggested in the nose; touch of alcohol; sweeter maltiness; hops donít really show up at all. More bourbon than AB in the taste. Medium; dryish; muted carbonation. Little heavy on the booziness in the flavor made this a little less drinkable for me. Definitely a sipper, but this became less easy through the sample. Overall, the bourbon was a little overwhelming at points

Pours a beautiful dark copper with a light head and moderate carbonation. Aroma is a deep caramel with a citrus hop undertone. Flavor is strong oak/whiskey but the strong hop load balance it out and provide a nice, sippin beer.

dark copper color, medium white head, lacy. nose of bourbon, vanilla and a touch of hops that shows through the barrel notes. mostly bourbon flavor and hops with a vanilla note underneath the alcoholic note. medium bodied, lightly bitter finish. i really liked what the barrel did to this one. on tap @ three floyds brewpub.
