4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Welley_Alves (118) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - JUN 15, 2013
Ótima IPA da Stone, com fermento belga. Cor amarelo-ouro, com ótima formacao de espuma, persistente. No nariz, notas cítricas, manga, lupulado. Na boca, o sabor do fermento belfa vem intenso, frutado, notas maltadas, seguido pelo amargor equilibrado. Uma perfeita mistura de estilos. Álcool bem inserido no final, com retrogosto frutado e macio. Ótima breja!

September 2012. Bottle. Amber color with a white head. Using Belgian yeast adds an intersting twist to the IPA, but it works. Still the same complexity and great ale.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 puboflyons (1451) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 10, 2013
From the 650 ml. bottle. It pours copper amber with a soft, long-lasting head. Earthy and floral hops are on the nose however there is also a Belgian yeast and malt sequence coming up with the second and third whiffs. Also a bit of citrus and biscuit. The body is medium. The is wildly bitter like a good IPA should be while at the same time mellow and warming like a Belgian pale. They used the word "fascinating" in their commercial description. I have to agree with that. Very neat.

Pale gold with rimming off-white head; aroma of crude oil; Flava sent my head whirling, Ok, strong dank oily first fading gradually into soft lemony tartness with notes of grain spice and yeast; finishes dry and bitter; feels light and crisp

Poured a clear golden color with a HUGE eggshell-colored head. Aroma is pine, bubblegum, banana, citrus, floral, herbs, and clove. Taste is quite an interesting mix of a hoppy ipa, like their original, with great mix of banana and clove with a bittersweet finish.

Live stone beers this one was unique. It was less hoppy to me than the regular ipa. Lighter head. Really liked it but not as much as the regular. If you don't like the bitterness of the regular ipa then this is one to buy. Stone is a great brewery!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tycho52 (64) - California, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Poured from a bomber. Pours a rich but not too dark gold with a thick, frothy, white head. Quickly dissipating head with some decent lacing. Nose is dominated by yeast and hops, and I can smell it before I even poured it from the bottle. Hops and yeast make for a tasty collision. Very smooth.
