Aug 7, 2009 This is a good, Turkey Sandwich beer, or a Grilled Chicken. It would also go well with Buffalo wings. Call me weird but Give me some Cold Green Apples and a bottle of this on a summers day, and I would be happy
I has to Choose between and A normal IPA and a Belgian IPA, the Belgian would always win. I am not the biggest fan of IPA’s but I really did enjoy this

Aug 6, 2009 2009-08-01. Golden yellow body with a creamy beige head. (4+) Big hoppy aroma of green leafy hops. (7+) Flavour is also quite hoppy, modest resin with a melange of citrus touches. (7+) Smooth average plus palate. Pretty decent. On tap at BCTC 2009

Aug 6, 2009 22 Funky, a completely different trip than the IPA. The fresh hop bite is very nice w/ the fruity Belgie yeast. It really brings more depth to the beer; the sugars taste a lot more Belgian... but they’re the same as the IPA?? Crazy brew.

Aug 3, 2009 on tap @ BCTC 2009. Perhaps my favorite of the 2 to 6 shift. Deeper golden pour. My second favorite in the style to Houblon Chouffe with the Belgian aspect is a bit more prounced. Yeasty belgian ness in the aroma along with that big Stone hop profile. Taste is somewhat hop dominated with the Belgian yeast cutting it down a tad. Extremely drinkable & mostly delicious. Come to Buffalo. Dennis Flynn are you listeneing??

Aug 2, 2009 I really like the concept of this beer...but the execution doesn’t quite live up. The Belgian influence is most notable in the nose, but the more aggressive IPA flavors tend to dominate once it hits the mouth. I wouldn’t describe it as an "identical twin" to the Stone IPA, either. Much of the citrus flavor is lost on this one, presumably replaced by the Belgian influence.
Still, very good. Just not quite up there with its cousin, the Stone IPA.

Jul 31, 2009 IPAs are gaining in my appreciation of late and this is no exception! Copper/brown pour with light white head...little more complex in taste than thier standard IPA not sure what causes that but its good.

Jul 30, 2009 Bomber. Pours a light golden color with a quick large white head. Aroma is large, with fruity yeast and hops being the most present. The taste is phenomenal. there is such a complex flavor of the hops and the big yeast character. It is almost a perfect balance of yeast and hops, as opposd to the usual malts and hops. This is quickly one of my favorites. It is a great twist on the IPA, there is the flavor and complexity of no other IPA. A wonderful drink all around.
