A little on the sweet side and slightly fruity taste for an IPA. I thought it was good but I prefer two hearted ale hands down. rmussman (905), California, USA

Very little head on it. The aroma is very malty. A really interesting IPA but more like a strong ale. Pretty good brew and worth a try. Lubiere (4480), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Mix of C-hops, coriander, herbs and fruity esters in aroma. In mouth, very maltuy with good restrained c-hops, light spiced notes, more IPA than Belgian. Medium bodied. It would also go well with Buffalo wings. Call me weird but Give me some Cold Green Apples and a bottle of this on a summers day, and I would be happy
I has to Choose between and A normal IPA and a Belgian IPA, the Belgian would always win. I am not the biggest fan of IPA’s but I really did enjoy this jerc (3888), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

(4+) Big hoppy aroma of green leafy hops. (7+) Flavour is also quite hoppy, modest resin with a melange of citrus touches. (7+) Smooth average plus palate. Pretty decent. The fresh hop bite is very nice w/ the fruity Belgie yeast. It really brings more depth to the beer; the sugars taste a lot more Belgian... but they’re the same as the IPA?? Crazy brew. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA

My second favorite in the style to Houblon Chouffe with the Belgian aspect is a bit more prounced. Yeasty belgian ness in the aroma along with that big Stone hop profile. Taste is somewhat hop dominated with the Belgian yeast cutting it down a tad. Extremely drinkable & mostly delicious. Come to Buffalo. Dennis Flynn are you listeneing?? The Belgian influence is most notable in the nose, but the more aggressive IPA flavors tend to dominate once it hits the mouth. I wouldn’t describe it as an "identical twin" to the Stone IPA, either. Much of the citrus flavor is lost on this one, presumably replaced by the Belgian influence.
Still, very good. Just not quite up there with its cousin, the Stone IPA.
