3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a 0.5L wheat glass. Pours a golden hazy yellow/orange with a smallish white head. Smells of yeast, bread, citrus and bubblegum. Tastes of citrus, grapefruit, peppery, biscuit and caramel. Medium to full bodied with a lingering aftertaste of belgian funk and bitterness. I donít really like belgian ipaís and this one is no different. Not bad for itís style I suppose. My dislike of the style is unfortunately factored in the scoring, there really was no way for me to do otherwise with this.

Great mouthfeel! Smooth, light, slightly fizzy. The aroma of Belgian esters are slightly overshadowed by hops, but that is understandable for this style, well done! The sweet Belgian esters balance out the hop bitterness, making this a very pleasant beer that is great alone and would probably go well with a dish that is not overly spicy. Very nice. Banana, clove, gentle grapefruit. Not much lace, but you wouldn?t even know with such a good mouthfeel.

Opaque-ish gold. Good, long-lasting head. Well dry-hopped balanced with Belgian esters of yeast and banana.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with white head. Taste citrus, fruity, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
slightly hazy, brassy orange with a small patch of white bubbles; bright citrus aroma with banana, apricot, some alcohol, and pine; Itís got a nice, gently sweet caramel and citrus rind character, with dry, bready taste and some twang and bitterness on the finish. The carb is light but still effervescent, with a nice medium body. I think the belgian dryness compliments the hops bitterness very well, still retains a fairly bright character, and the sweetness still manages to come through. There are many different takes on this hybridized style, each emphasizing different aspects of both styles. Stoneís is well balanced, but I think the belgian traits are slightly in the background.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a yellow with an orange tint color. Aroma of citrus and grass. Taste is of nature with a mowed lawn aroma taste that lasts even after the swallow. A different IPA with more of a yeasty flavor.

11/22/12. Bomber given to me by a doc at work. And drank after a tasting at CBO.
Poured a hazy orange color with amazing lacing. Really crazy lacing
Nose is a sweet citrus aroma with slight honey, bready qualities.
Taste is a combination of citrus and malt with a slight bitterness at the end that lingers.
Overall a very good beer!

pours golden orange with a small but dense stark white head. aroma is fantastic... fruity hops, some sweet yeast and grass, with a bit of caramel malt on the back end. flavor is overwhelmed by the Belgian hops but has a much smoother finish. Good beer.
