Ehhhhh??? Dunno, wierd stone beer with Xmas spice or fall allspice not a pair I enjoyed. I can’t say it was bad and give it a 2 rating, just not something I thought paired well. Just wouldn’t recommend.

Tap 0.3 l, ZUP, Wrocław, Poland.
Złote piwo z puszystą pianą oraz przyjemnym, owocowym, lekko winnym aromatem. W smaku pełne, lekko słodowe, owocowe, trochę biszkoptowe z chmielową goryczką na finiszu.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head and plenty of carbonation. Unmistakable Belgian yeast tartness with notes of a Californian IPA so, yea, they pretty much nailed the style and the name for this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 22 oz to glass. Pours clear golden. Aroma of bubblegum, herbs and saison yeast. Surprisingly little or no hops. Medium body. Hops can be tasted now especially in aftertaste bitterness but not nearly as hoppy as Most stone or Cali IPAs. Very nicely balanced overall. Hybrids like these (both have strong over the top features) are very difficult to pull off but this one comes close.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Aroma is strong bubblegum, light banana, and citrus juice. Tastes dry and pretty bitter. Tons of bubblegum and banana, not much else. Like a very bitter Belgian ale. Meh.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
650ml bottle. Such a nicely balanced beer. The tropical and citrus fruitiness never overpowers the belgian yeast funk and vice versa. Could drink this all day, all night, rain hail or shine.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355 ml bottle bought at Q-Club in SoHo, Central.
Looks: Translucent golden honey orange colour with no yeast sediments; Near zero head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with quite fizzy carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet Ale malt, with fresh and strong passion fruits, strong pineapples, jack fruits, orange, banana, honey, floral, sugar, pine, light spice, fairly strong Belgian yeast, light cloves, lemon and grass.
Taste: Medium sweet Ale malt, with strong passion fruits,
grapefruit, orange peels, honey, molasses, strong earth, strong pine, strong resin, strong spices, dry biscuits, strong yeast, strong lime, fairly strong bitter hops and sharp fresh-cut grass.
Body: Close to medium body; Fairly slick, dry and quite oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Very intense and fruity hop attack backed by good Ale maltyness, in a dry, moderate body. Strong first hit of passion fruits followed by grapefruits and sharp orange peel, sharp ooze and pine, complimented by fair molasses sweetness, strong spices and loads of (half) Belgian yeasts. Intense but comfy. The 6.9% booze is almost undetectable. Very nice!
Hoppiness: Massive in tropical fruit-related fragrant aroma, honey, floral, pine, resin, earth and spices in both nose and taste. Bitterness is increasingly potent and grassy but quite tasty at 77 IBU for a lasting, strong bitter finish.
After Taste: Dry. Very fruity and nice strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: I just love a strong, malty, fruity and piney IPA and guess what? Its purported Belgian elements are more complements in a roundabout way, being subtle than strong both in banana aroma and estery taste. It’s pretty much a Centennial and Chinook affair. Hop-wise, its passion fruit is fresh, its orange peel is zesty, and the grassy bitterness is just enjoyable. The absence of Belgian yeast sediments in the bottle is perhaps the only minus. This is lovable!
