3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 dpjuart (974) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2010Bomber from Sudsy’s. Pours clear yellow with orange hues, 1/2 inch white head dissipating to a thin film with OK lacing. Nose is orange and grapefruit, citrus love. It has a nice malty backbone with some serious Belgian character, moderately bitter and chock full of hoppy goodness, citrus and mildly floral, some grass notes with mild resin. Tasty IPA.

Quite nice. The description was spot on in that it has the uniqueness of Stone with an abundance of hops. However, the aroma was not just that but rather had a floral aspect that I would associate with Belgians. Creamy palate with a good weight and carbonation. Well balanced with the malts and Belgian yeast. Great beer.

Sweet flowery, citrus and perfumery (lavender) aroma with grapes, and yeast. Hazy amber with a nice bubbly head that reduces to a thin ring very quickly. Taste is a little syrupy but mostly bitter and sour.
