3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden brew with the smell of mandrine orange and herbs. Taste was bland at first and I didnít much think I cared for it, but after a few sips the flavor balanced out with some sweetness in there but yet the hops was odd and I couldnít seem to really figure the taste. Noticed other reviewers here couldnít seem to agree either. Some say citrus, others floral, and others are going with pine. The more I drink this one the more it seems to take on different flavors. The resinish bland seems to be in the aftertaste so I am going with just an Interesting flavor. Overall it is good, but for the high price tag not going back for more of this one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slighly hazy golden yellow with a huge foamy white head that lefts tons of lacing. Aroma was pleasant with citrus hops, pine, and a mild dankness. Flavor was pine, bitter grapefruit, and the belgian yeast was present. Iím not big on that Belgian yeast taste in general, but paired together with the Stone IPA this actually worked well. I was surprised and thought it was solid and unique. The body was medium with a thin texture. Might have been over-carbed. Bitter and dry to finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear golden pour with a tight white head. Funky yeasty aroma up front, some fruity, lemony, spiciness underneath. Taste is oranges and lemons, stone fruit, spice, yeasty, pepper, quite dry, with medium bitterness. Pretty damn good.

TAP. Poured clear straw to gold with minimal white head. Sweet apricot & honey on the nose. Sweet honey & lemon flavour up front, sweet malts in the middle with a hoppy/bitter yet crisp finish.... Sticky mouth feeling after the mouthful? Sourced Pourhouse Dunsborough

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Yellow colour, white head. Aroma of belgium yeast, peach, lemon and spices. Taste is medium bitter, flavour of belgium yeast esters, a bit peppery, dry finish. Thin body, slick texture, soft to average carbonation. Interesting combination of styles.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear gold with lasting thin foam of head and OK lacing. Aroma is lots of ham, a little banana and clove. Taste is funky ripe fruits, some peppery spice, and a bit of yeast. Ends with a growing bitterness. Iím on the fence a little with this, but mostly leaning towards the wrong side of the fence. Palate is decent with some lively carbonation, but in the end this is a forced marriage of two styles that donít complement each other - in this case, anyway. Not a good IPA, not a good Belgian - so where does that leave us?

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (650ml) from Oak Barrel, Sydney. Bright golden appearance with a foamy white head that reduces to a stable collar providing a sudsy lace. Nose has Belgian yeasts and soft peppery spices together with malt grains and orangey citrus. Flavour is bittersweet with a dryish citrusy peppery finish. Palate is medium bodied and oily with a medium carbonation. Nothing like the usual hop monsters from Stone Brewing but still very pleasant and drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from brewdog bar, Sheffield. Clear yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is banana and clove, dusky woody hops. Taste is sweet and bitter, a bit too sweet for me. Medium carbonation and nice medium body with oil.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer was created with a really interesting idea. A Belgian and a California style IPA brewed together.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear golden colour with a nice small foamy white head. The funky, earthy belgian yeast is front and centre in the aroma - straw, cloves, coriander, along with honey sweetness, bubblegum and dried apricots. The belgian yeast dominates the taste as well with its earthy and funky tones, before the IPA notes come out of hiding - honey, pine, citrus. Finishes quite bitter. Fairly light bodied, making it very drinkable. The belgian twist really works in this beer and I actually prefer it to their standard IPA.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy yellow, nice head. Aroma: citrus, Belgian yeast elements (spices, horse blanket), white fruit. Taste: pretty balanced, yeasty, citrus. Nice and drinkable introduction to Belgian beer for laymen, but nothing spectacular if you are familiar with Belgian brewing.
