3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good clear amber color with a sizable foamy white head. Notes of yeast, spice, doughy malt, and a gentle touch of hops in the nose. Light bodied with a creamy texture. A balancing act of spice, yeast, and citrus hop flavors dominate throughout, with a touch of alcohol and malt. The finish is a soft touch of hops and alcohol, and falls far short of what Iím used to from a Stone IPA.

Exactly what you'd imagine if you stuck Belgium and IPA together. Not so awesome though.

Aroma of citrus flavors with orange, sweet smells, bubble gum, and some yeast. Golden in color with small bits of carbonation. Strong flavoring of grapefruit mixed with yeast and rind. It has a bitter, rind, grapefruit bite to it.

Would be a benchmark of the style (albeit not a recognized one as yet). Takes their already excellent IPA and updates it with Belgian yeast. A brilliant innovation and having both side-by-side is a treat not to be missed.

Clear golden color. Smells of citrus, pine and Belgian malt. Taste is light pine and a subtle sweetness that is very Belgian. Hop flavor lingers but its not intense. This is exactly as its described on the bottle. A delicious change from the normal west coast style.
