The aroma is undeniably STONE IPA, but a twist…. Spicy esters, mango, guava, grapefruit… the dry-hopping is SO fresh and aromatic that it’s near euphoric! Yet the phenols are a bit shrill.
The flavor is tropical fruit and citrusy zest. Sticky palate, Ahhh…. I’m in love!

The aroma is hop-heavy with a touch of yeast; fruity, piney, resiny, and grassy. The flavor is quite complex: the hops hit first with their citrus and pine flavors, and then a subtle sweetness from the yeast. A little maltiness would have been nice to balance it out. Unique, but not quite amazing. jrmac (215), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Decent, but not what I like in a beer. I would try again. Pour was cloudy gold with huge white foam. Nose was very citrus laden hops. The taste was pretty much the same. Has an out of place bitterness to it though. kosko20 (338), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA

Aroma of citrus and earthy hops, yeast, fruit and spices. Flavor is bittersweet. Palate is medium bodied but a little cloying. SudsMcDuff (1867), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Bottle [22oz]. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an average size lasting fluffy white head. Decent lacing. Very nice aroma of hops (resiny, citrusy and grassy) and Belgian yeast foremost followed by lots of fruit and spices. Flavour is hoppier then expected and is a pleasant surprise. Lots of hops but also yeasty, spicy and quite fruity along with sweet malt backing it up. Decent dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. I really like (most of) these Belgian/IPAs and this one’s no exception, it’s very easy to drink, smells great and is very tasty -- well done. kassner (477), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
