On tap at Cheeky Monk. Pour is clear orange with a frothy white head and great lacing. Fruity, spicy, oaky, white grapes, bready, light fig, raisin, dark cherry, and oranges in the aroma. Taste French oak, orange peel, grapefruits, somewhat grassy, alcoholic, caramelly, dates, grapes and dark fruits. Slick mouthfeel with high carbonation. Cool beer.

A Belgian style ipa that is super fruity. Smells fruity and borders on a trippel. Looks orange in color and has a fruity finish. Ha at American junkie ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Malty hop aromas. Bitter hop with a bit of oak. The red wine really dries out the finish.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #109. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a clear vibrant copper color with a thin foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of juicy citrus, herbal notes, mild wood and wine. The taste is tart wine, citrus hops, pale malt. Medium bodied.

Draft at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena. Slightly hazy dark yellow pour with a nice thick white head. Spicy nose with hints of oak and red fruit. Really nice taste, lots of hops some slight tannins in the finish. Pleasantly dry and bitter finish. If anything, I would like a bit more barrel character.

Pours a cloudy orange, with a reddish tint. Big red wine barrel on the nose, with a hint of Belgian yeast and hops. Flavor is very similar, nice red wine, and oak character. Hops are present, so is the yeast note, but the red wine is the star here.

Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, red wine, oak, yeast and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, oak and red wine finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. An unclear, golden to orange beer with a dense off-white head. At first, it smells like tooth paste, but quickly the vanilla and red wine from the barrels kick in. Alcohol notes and tropical fruits. Full body, warming and pleasantly carbonated. Quite oaked flavor, with fruits and a touch of Belgian yeast. Nice bitterness. Lasting warming finish with oak, tannins, fruits and bitterness. Unusual but quite nice. 130816
