This has got a nice aroma, something I should be able to place but can’t right now. Quite dark for a golden, almost orange. Fruity coriander maybe? I was quite impressed with this. The flavor is sharp, maybe a bit too fruity to be a true session beer, but mostly a solid beer. Quite surprised that I liked it so much and that others didn’t.

Bottle courtesy of golubj. Pours a light amber, ruddy gold color with a short lasting head. Aroma of biscuit with a citrus bite. Agree with Jon that this was very familiar. I actually quite enjoyed the flavor and found it both balanced and hoppy for the style. Biscuit, lemon, citrus and earth. Would work best as a summertime beer.

Bottle, thanks to Mei. Blond pour with some white head. Aroma is light grain, some sweetness, reminiscent of a golden ale I had awhile back in VA. Flavor is the same, Light banana and lemon, mixed with grain and sweetness. I actually enjoy this style.

Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a thin head that fades as quick as the pour. The aroma is nice and bitter and has some floral notes. The flavor is nice and bitter initially but it fades rather quick. it is a refreshing brew but it is kind of bland with a watery finish.

Rated as Hook and Ladder Golden Ale: This tastes like every other generic ’Golden Ale.’ Golden Ale, by the by, is a style i have less than no interest in because i’ve yet to find a ’Golden Ale’ that i actually would drink twice...
