Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Stale, citrus malt aroma. Dry taste. Some hops mixed with a malty presence. But really hard to pick things out. OK, but not great.

Hmm, what to say. I had some hope here but it just didn’t work out. Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Poured a dark yellow that you could see through. Couldn’t pick a whole lot in the aroma but a little earth. Taste is of a very light body - assumed from a blonde - but there is no really stand out taste here. I could imagine it would be refreshing on a really sunny day out on the porch and a better alternative to a light macro.

12oz bottle from Hannaford in Gardiner. Pours a hazy golden body with a half inch of whiteish head. Smells biscuity and citrusy with a slight hint of DMS. Tastes biscuity and sweet with a fair amount of lemony citrus, and a hint of pith toward the finish. Light to medium in mouthfeel with plentiful carbonation help make this one an easy drinker. Spot on for the style, and one of the best examples of it I’ve had. Little wrong with this one, and a good one for a hot summer day, I’d think.

Pours with a three finger white head that fades quickly leaving some lace. Almost cloudy pale amber color. The nose is slight hoppiness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body. Flavor is mellow some hoppiness, some sweetness. Clean finish. $1.50 for 12oz bottle from Capitol Convenience, Concord, NH. Label is Hook & Ladder Brewing - contract brewed by Mercury.

Bottle from Capone’s. Deep gold pour with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of Saazy hops, citrus, pale malt, some funky yeasty notes. Tastes pale malty, with citrus, hops, and mild fruity notes.

On tap at Hemingway’s in Oakland, Pittsburgh. Clear gold with white head. Aroma is Mary Kay lip gloss from the 1970’s. I kid you not. My mother used that lipgloss from the pink tube, with the wand brush. Strange that a beer would smell like that. Ah nostalgia. Flavor is slightly salty cheddar cheese and fruit.

Pours golden with a large creamy head. Smells of fresh grass and leather. Taste is similar, a little tangy and acrid palate. Really just a normal gold pub beer. Didn’t finish my pint. Sampled at "Lucky’s Sports Bar" in Springfield, VA.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sour, tangy generic "beer". The flavor was sour, tangy and a bit dry. Rather macroish.
