Looked like any other random beer. It honestly could have been a Michelob or a Bud in my glass. Some sweetness, no hop bite. Just tried it because I was in DC for the night and had never heard of it. lars1939 (2), Huntingtown, Maryland, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2007 On tap at Stoney’s Pier Restaurant in Solomon’s Island, Maryland. Smooth, full tasting ale. Good summer drink with crabs! radagast83 (1290), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Waitress wasn’t sure if they had this or Backdraft, and as what I drank was not a brown ale, it has to be this. Typical, but honestly good beer. Nice flavor, but not quite what I’d expect from a wheat, more amber/golden like. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet caramel and light honey aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with a grassy bitter ending. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

Way to watery. the only citrus notes remided me of a citrus cleanser. I drank a two ounces and poured the rest out. beachbum25 (783), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2007 On Tap-Station 7 Resteraunt-Pittsville MD. Poured a light golden yellow color w/a very slight head. Pleasent hop flavor up front w/some traces of sweetness. Clean, crisp, creamy, easy drinking brew with a long full finish. They were calling this a Golden Ale & I think that is a much more accurate description, this didn’t remind me of a wheat at all. Not spectacular, would appeal to the macro crowd & was a natural to serve @ this resteraunt-a converted Firehouse!!-But they took my Yuengling lager off tap to add it-BOO!!! jefcon (999), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Clean aromas of citrus and wheat, with some sharp hops on the nose, too. Golden in color with lively carbonation. Plenty of ale characteristics on flavors... a little grassy, plenty of grains, and a slightly bittering finish. Smooth on the palate, but full like an ale. Lots of body to complement an easy-drinking beer. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 20, 2006 Pours a hazy orangey yellow with a nice foamy hat sitting on top. Nose, well I’m not sure, citurs but no hops. Taste is bitter throughout. Couldn’t get passed the bitter flavor from beginning to end.
