Jan 16, 2009 Bottle, thanks to Mei. Blond pour with some white head. Aroma is light grain, some sweetness, reminiscent of a golden ale I had awhile back in VA. Flavor is the same, Light banana and lemon, mixed with grain and sweetness. I actually enjoy this style.

Mar 21, 2007 On Tap-Station 7 Resteraunt-Pittsville MD. Poured a light golden yellow color w/a very slight head. Pleasent hop flavor up front w/some traces of sweetness. Clean, crisp, creamy, easy drinking brew with a long full finish. They were calling this a Golden Ale & I think that is a much more accurate description, this didn’t remind me of a wheat at all. Not spectacular, would appeal to the macro crowd & was a natural to serve @ this resteraunt-a converted Firehouse!!-But they took my Yuengling lager off tap to add it-BOO!!!

Nov 15, 2003 I liked the appearance of this beer..its a nice hazy golden colour..large frothy white head..
Smell is lackluster though theres a faint lemony scent..
Taste is pleasant but nothing stellar..mostly sweet..malts a small bitterness at the end.
Average mouthfeel
Quite drinkable but I don't think blondes are my style.

Jun 27, 2004 Pours a hazy yellow/golden almost like a hefe. Taste is citrusy and has a slight bitterness to it. A well done blond.

Jan 15, 2007 Clean aromas of citrus and wheat, with some sharp hops on the nose, too. Golden in color with lively carbonation. Plenty of ale characteristics on flavors... a little grassy, plenty of grains, and a slightly bittering finish. Smooth on the palate, but full like an ale. Lots of body to complement an easy-drinking beer.

Jul 11, 2008 Pours gold into a shaker. Micro head quickly subsides to hug rim. Stale malt aromas. Sour from front to back. Lasting metallic finish.

Feb 3, 2009 Bottle courtesy of golubj. Pours a light amber, ruddy gold color with a short lasting head. Aroma of biscuit with a citrus bite. Agree with Jon that this was very familiar. I actually quite enjoyed the flavor and found it both balanced and hoppy for the style. Biscuit, lemon, citrus and earth. Would work best as a summertime beer.

Apr 4, 2008 Hook and Ladder Golden Ale. Rating #993. Pours orange/gold, with a white head. Aroma is grass, malt, and grain. Flavor is malt, grass, and corn. Nothing special here, but this would probably be a nice summertime session brew.
